TRVG Trivago. I like this company's product and use it often. With that logic I should have bought Amazon a decade ago and Google 15 years ago.

I'll choose Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT). Their stock tanked when some of the patients on their liver drug died but it was probably due to over-dosing by the prescribing doctors.

I think the S&P rises until our dear leader steps down from office, probably sometime this summer, and then retreats. Half up, half down, I'll say the S&P ends flat at 2700.

Down market st some point this year.  Short tsla - the fundamentals of this stock, management consistently missing production goals, etc just cry for a huge correction.  I will be fighting an uphill battle versus a completely I insane investor base.  S&p down after a hell of a bull run - 2350

Anyone hear of Illumina (ILMN)?  They're the world's largest maker of genomic sequencing machines.  I have been seeing commercials for how anyone can order a kit and check their own DNA.  It's become incredibly easy and affordable now.  This is something that seems pretty new and could possibly open up new applications.

KTOS

Kratos Defense and Security

Laser weapons? Jet powered drones? Awesome anti-hero character from a video game?  Count me in.

Really, it's a play on escalating military tensions, and a smaller defense company that could really move.

I'm in but will wait until Thursday the 18th or Friday to submit my loser. It may not be over 5 by then and I'll have to pick some other turd along with my stellar S&P prediction.

I'll stand by one that I've pimped since the IPO.  I own it personally, our firm owns quite a bit of it, so I shall eat my own cooking, so to speak.  I think cobalt prices resume their upward trajectory and finish 2018 at ~$50/Lb.  If so, then Cobalt 27 will have a terrific year.  KBLT CN trades $12.23 Canadian and can be found on the US line under CBLLF at $9.62 US currently.

Two time champ picks CBLLF

S&P 3,456

Stock Pick:   PNC

gonna stick close to home on this one.  financial sector is strong.  company makes $1billion a quarter and this is before the rate hikes and corp. tax rate reduction will really take hold.  stock ran up 2017 and I see no reason this won't continue.

just wonder if a split is in the cards here.

BXC

S&P 500: 2999

With the economy firing on all cylinders I expect real estate to continue to do well. Technically this has a decent base. Most importantly, BlueLinx is a pretty kewl name so it should be black swan proof.

Thanks for running A74!

I'll take UNIT.  Distressed, but if it has a couple items go it's way it will bounce up nicely.

S&P 3175

Cognex (CGNX) - Factory automation play. They make machine vision systems to do things like check fill level of a beer bottle, flag a scratch on a cell phone, guide robots to identify and place parts.
S&P 500 - 2861

FYI, no shorts.  Although I do think this is a good call.  Actually just bought some put options on TSLA for a client this week.

I'll go EMN in honor of Eminence.

Oh and 2222.22 for S and P.  Stick believe this "genius" administration is leading things to a crash  My number is probably high.

Btw when is the deadline?

End of day 01/19.

I’m going with Pure Cycle Corp (PCYO).  It is a water company around Denver. But they also own around 1,000 acres in the metro area that is being developed. Nice cash flow and no debt.

SPX = 2,927

Long Juniper Pharmaceuticals (JNP). I just bought 100 shares, so this one is going in the tank.

S&P 2965.13
