Glancing at matchups and DVOAs again, and here are the only positions that have a matchup vs. 16 or lower DVOA (I figured I would extend it to bottom 1/2 Ds):
NE: Rbs (rush), TE
Jax: QB, Rbs (rush), Rbs (pass), WR1, and WR2
Min: TE
That's it. The 3 highlighted positions are ones that have the matchups that really stand out DVOA of 26 or higher for those positions. Minn is top 6 in the league vs every position. RG doesn't do the "other" WR DVOA rankings, so I will look at the other site for those today.
That Lines up with OL vs. DL rankings as those in order are: NE, Jax, Philly, Min.
Not sure what that leaves us for the Minn/Philly game. On a small slate, I am guessing the RBs are still worth a look despite the subpar matchups. L.Murray has been seeing 4+ RZ touches in each of the last 4 games, and Blount saw 5 for Philly last week. There's always a chance if they get down by the goalline some of these guys can fall in a for a TD or two, but I think we are counting on the TDs and not game long yardage production. With Foles under center, all the pass catchers there have seen a big drop off in targets. Long story short, I just don't see Philly doing a ton. I am only doing 6-8 LUs and the most I am looking at is Elliot, and maybe an RB
It for sure could burn me, but like I posted above, I would rather take my shots with NE players who I could see getting those random 10 target games like Amendola, vs. somebody like Agholor or Smith.
