Man, my team is nose-diving the last three weeks. At least I'll have a ton of crappy PAs to choose from or trade away.

I have 82 starts but only 37 quality starts.

My bullpen of Jeffress, Knebal, Colome, Gsellman, Watson, Peacock and Casilla looks pretty good though.  Hoping Suter and Liriano can stay relatively healthy and Zimmerman can get deeper into games, I should be ok at starter.

I'll have good excess SS and C PAs to trade along with a reliever.  I'm gonna need a 1Bman or OFer.

@cosjobs has under 400 IP, the least batter games played, and 10 SV/H.

That won't end well.

On the bright side, I have absolutely no offense to trade for pitching

At about the halfway point:

BATTING

1 - SS Turner, Trea (R)  .264/.347/.398  8 HR  21 SB
2 - CF Almora Jr., Albert (R)  .318/.359/.446  4 HR  1 SB
3 - RF Rosario, Eddie (L)  .309/.348/.563  17 HR  6 SB
4 - C Realmuto, J.T. (R)  .308/.367/.549  10 HR  1 SB
5 - 3B Moustakas, Mike (L)  .255/.310/.467  15 HR  3 SB
6 - LF Parra, Gerardo (L)  .306/.343/.426  5 HR  6 SB
7 - 2B Harrison, Josh (R)  .267/.305/.374  4 HR  2 SB
8 - 1B Mancini, Trey (R)  .226/.295/.368  10 HR  0 SB

(Parra and Almora could switch against righties.)

Bench - C Severino, Pedro (R)  .175/.265/.231  0 HR  1 SB
Bench - IF Camargo, Johan (S)  .243/.351/.425  7 HR  0 SB
Bench - IF Sanchez, Yolmer (S)  .257/.304/.405  5 HR  8 SB
Bench - OF Heredia, Guillermo (R)  .237/.335/.325  2 HR  1 SB
Bench - 1B McMahon, Ryan (L)  .211/.283/.337  2 HR  0 SB
Bench - IF Torreyes, Ronald (R)  .323/.343/.415  0 HR  0 SB

(Camargo is improving rapidly, and could send Mancini to the bench)

...

PITCHING

SP1  Bauer, Trevor (R)  107 IP,  2.44 ERA,  1.093 WHIP,  0.42 HR/9
SP2  Manaea, Sean (L)  106.2 IP,  3.38 ERA,  0.966 WHIP,  1.27 HR/9
SP3  Greinke, Zack (R)  103 IP,  3.41 ERA,  1.107 WHIP,  1.4 HR/9
SP4  Gonzales, Marco (L)  91.1 IP,  4.04 ERA,  1.281 WHIP,  0.99 HR/9
SP5  Williams, Trevor (R)  87 IP,  4.03 ERA,  1.195 WHIP,  1.03 HR/9

SP6  Stratton, Chris (R)  91 IP,  4.45 ERA,  1.396 WHIP,  0.89 HR/9
LR  German, Domingo (R)  64.1 IP,  5.32 ERA,  1.212 WHIP,  1.54 HR/9
SU  Alvarez, Jose (L)  35.2 IP,  3.03 ERA,  1.15 WHIP,  0.5 HR/9
SU  Vazquez, Felipe (L)  32.2 IP,  3.86 ERA,  1.408 WHIP,  0.28 HR/9
SU  Rogers, Taylor (L)  32 IP,  4.22 ERA,  1.281 WHIP,  0.56 HR/9
CL  Jansen, Kenley (R)  38 IP,  2.37 ERA,  0.921 WHIP,  0.95 HR/9

MOP  Despaigne, Odrisamer (R)  20.1 IP,  5.31 ERA,  1.475 WHIP,  0.44 HR/9
MOP  Blackburn, Paul (R)  17.1 IP,  8.83 ERA,  1.558 WHIP,  1.04 HR/9

(Bullpen is weak sauce after Jansen and Alvarez. Still hoping Vazquez straightens up and gets his WHIP to at least 1.200, but he's really up and down. German is coming close to putting it together, but his mistakes are doozies.)

Still a nice reliever from the 45th round, at least.

He has a ton of players on Reserve which is skewing the numbers somewhat. Not saying his team is that much better, but it's not quite as bad.

Probably more valuable to still just use him as a starter for 15 starts or so.

You could ... Smith averaged less than 5 IP an outing, though. In WIS terms, he'd start throwing BP after about 75 pitches.
