I can't imagine he does, at least not any time soon. They just hired a solid 3-4 DC and changed Vernon's designation a couple months ago in response. That said, the price is right if you can afford to sit on him for a couple of seasons. I couldn't hold him in my leagues as they are contract cap leagues but if the roster space isn't killing you then it's a good swing.16tm idp ppr
Gave: M.Milano
Got:: O.Vernon
Here's hoping he gets switched back to DE.
Time to replace an owner. Maybe two. This one really doesn't help us at all.The Man With No Name said:Team A gave: Danielle Hunter, Bobby Wagner, Case Keenum
Team B gave: Jason Pierre-Paul, Cameron Wake, Earl Thomas
That is as lopsided a trade as I have seen in awhile. I am in a big play league (8 pts per sack/ 1 pt per tackle) and there is no justification for Team A to give that up for what they got back.Team A gave: Danielle Hunter, Bobby Wagner, Case Keenum
Team B gave: Jason Pierre-Paul, Cameron Wake, Earl Thomas
If Team B needed a QB it makes sense to do the deal. Still not sure I would do it but I don't have issue with it.This is dynasty now:
Team A gets: Frank Clark
Team B gets: Sam Bradford & Dante Fowler
Clark ranked out at T-18 for DL last season in this league. Fowler at 27. Both teams will be in the title hunt.
And how does this trade help Team A do this? Call the DE's a wash if you want to (I take Hunter by a mile) and I'll even concede that getting an above average S for a solid QB2 isn't awful (*it actually is) - but now he gave away the #1 LB in the game for Cameron Wake? You can't possibly say that with a straight face, so I'm guessing you're involved in the trade and trying to either play off your coup or just being coy about robbing someone, but this one doesn't hold up in any kind of light.Big play league and everyone's goal is to win now. Plus small rosters and bye week issues went into it
Bosa side big time. Is it me or is that extremely one-sided? Maybe I'm undervaluing Thielen? Just seems team B is getting the 2 best players. Maybe I'm missing the small league (10 team) dynamic?10 Team Dyno with 10 IDP start(3DL,4LB,3DB) 1.5 per tackle/.75 assist,4 points per sack
Team A trades:J Bosa/M Garrett/A Ogletree/R Ragland
for
Team B trades:E Griffin/B Graham/K Alonso/M Smith/A Thielen
Team B rebuilding and not a contender
I'd want Thielen before Bosa for this year, so makes sense if in win now mode. Long term I'd take Bosa side though.Bosa side big time. Is it me or is that extremely one-sided? Agreed. Thielen doesn't carry big name weight but it's a nice win-now pick up. Good trade for both sides, presumably.Arodin said:Thielen is a good enough offensive weapon to make that a fair trade, but excellent work by the rebuilder to get younger across his entire IDP corps.
That might not be bad depending on scoring systems. A big play league (my league is 8 pts per sack and 1 pt per tackle) and this is fairly even. Jones will be much more consistent scoring but Mack puts up the big games. Good to have both types in your lineup.Inattentive owners for the win...
Managed to flip Mack for Deion Jones.
Doubt that helps judge value in a shark league, but not everyone plays in serious contests.
Depending on roster/starting requirements I would want the Bosa side.Dynasty, 12 Team, Avg IDP scoring
Team A gets Joey Bosa, 2020 4th round
Team B gets 2019 Mid 2nd
This is standard roster size of 40, start 3 DL/LB/S.Depending on roster/starting requirements I would want the Bosa side.
Does that mean you start 3 at each of those positions or you start a total of 3 IDP players? If it's a total of 3 IDP players then I probably want the 2nd rounder and I really wouldn't even care about IDP at all.skycriesmary said:This is standard roster size of 40, start 3 DL/LB/S.
No, it's 3 at each position. DL is much harder to find blue chips than LB and S. I should be set now, as I'm pairing him up with D Lawrence and C Campbell.Does that mean you start 3 at each of those positions or you start a total of 3 IDP players? Bosa side by a mile. You're getting arguably the top IDP in the league for a mid-second in a weak draft year. No-brainer.Dynasty, 12 Team, Avg IDP scoring

I like it for you. Not terribly high on Ford, but starting DL with good fantasy potential aren’t easy to come by, and you only gave up two guys who very well might never amount to anything, 3.1 is gravy, potentially another solid idp.12tm IDP PPR
Gave: Jatavis Brown, Josey Jewell
Got: Dee Ford, 2019 3.01
This is what I thought. I have Littleton, LVE, Davis and Warner as my top 4 LBs so doubtful the 2 I gave ever see my starting lineup and I'd rather take my mid round chances on IDPs in the draft.I like it for you. Agree with Arodin. Rolling the dice that Ford keeps up the strong sack numbers is worth what you gave up.....especially now knowing your LB situation.12tm IDP PPR

If you needed LB help and IDP scoring matters then I would rather have Edmunds.16 team IDP PPR salary cap dynasty
Team A Tremaine Edmunds LB/Buffalo
Team B R1.16 2019 pick (which became WR Hakeem Butler)
Edmonds finished #12 in FPG for the position in this league. The difference between his #12 and #20 was less than a FPG. Pretty negligible, imo. Butler does require a leap of faith, for sure, but the upside is tremendous.Gally said:If you needed LB help and IDP scoring matters then I would rather have Edmunds.
Where do LB's normally start getting drafted in your league? 1.10 is about normal (this year was more like 1.07) in mine and I would pay far more than that for Edmunds. I'd give the 1.04 this year easily.saintfool said:16 team IDP PPR salary cap dynasty

This year White was picked up tail end of the R1. Previous years it was usually tail end of R2 at the earliest.Where do LB's normally start getting drafted in your league? 1.10 is about normal (this year was more like 1.07) in mine and I would pay far more than that for Edmunds.
