Team A gave up Beckham, Odell NYG WR
Team B gave up Mosley, C.J. BAL LB; Year 2018 Draft Pick 1.05;Year 2018 Draft Pick 3.05

Team A gave up Funchess, Devin CAR WR; Year 2018 Draft Pick 5.01;Year 2018 Draft Pick 6.01
Team B gave up Ingram, Melvin LAC DE;Wright, K.J. SEA LB

16tm idp ppr

Gave: M.Milano

Got:: O.Vernon

Here's hoping he gets switched back to DE.
I can't imagine he does, at least not any time soon.  They just hired a solid 3-4 DC and changed Vernon's designation a couple months ago in response.  That said, the price is right if you can afford to sit on him for a couple of seasons.  I couldn't hold him in my leagues as they are contract cap leagues but if the roster space isn't killing you then it's a good swing.

A few from my superflex:

A draft day blockbuster (mid-May):

A: gave up Hunt, Kareem KCC RB;Barron, Mark LAR LB; Year 2018 Draft Pick 2.05

B: gave up Year 2018 Draft Pick 1.08;Year 2018 Draft Pick 2.04;Year 2018 Draft Pick 2.08

Also during draft:

A: gave up Dareus, Marcell JAC DT;Quin, Glover DET S; Year 2018 Draft Pick 5.08

B: gave up Suh, Ndamukong LAR DT

Last week:

A: gave up Alonso, Kiko MIA LB; Year 2019 Round 3 Draft Pick

B: gave up Flacco, Joe BAL QB; Year 2019 Round 6 Draft Pick

It was a bit eye raising. I wish I had been in contact to try trading for Hunt. o_O

Post draft that trade was this:

Kareem Hunt, Mark Barron, Tremaine Edwards

for

Sony Michel, Christian Kirk, Courtland Sutton

Sure doesn't look like a proper price based on what Hunt did last year. To each their own, I suppose. Shame on me (and everyone else) for not sniffing around Hunt when this new owner wanted to shake up the roster on the orphan he picked up.

Gave:  Beasley, Vic ATL DE; Vander Esch, Leighton DAL LB

Got:  Lawrence, Demarcus DAL DE; Year 2019 Round 4 Draft Pick

Team A gave: Danielle Hunter, Bobby Wagner, Case Keenum

Team B gave: Jason Pierre-Paul, Cameron Wake, Earl Thomas

Time to replace an owner.  Maybe two.  This one really doesn't help us at all.

This is dynasty now:

Team A gets: Frank Clark

Team B gets: Sam Bradford & Dante Fowler

Clark ranked out at T-18 for DL last season in this league. Fowler at 27. Both teams will be in the title hunt.

Clark by quite a bit but if it's a 16 man league or superflex/2QB I could see the value Bradford has in making up the gap.

That is as lopsided a trade as I have seen in awhile.  I am in a big play league (8 pts per sack/ 1 pt per tackle) and there is no justification for Team A to give that up for what they got back.

If Team B needed a QB it makes sense to do the deal.  Still not sure I would do it but I don't have issue with it.

Big play league and everyone's goal is to win now. Plus small rosters and bye week issues went into it
And how does this trade help Team A do this?  Call the DE's a wash if you want to (I take Hunter by a mile) and I'll even concede that getting an above average S for a solid QB2 isn't awful (*it actually is) - but now he gave away the #1 LB in the game for Cameron Wake?  You can't possibly say that with a straight face, so I'm guessing you're involved in the trade and trying to either play off your coup or just being coy about robbing someone, but this one doesn't hold up in any kind of light.

Gave: Carl Lawson, 2019 2nd & 3rd

Got: CJ Mosley

It might be an overpay but my team's one weak spot was at LB. Now I'm loaded for a run at the Championship this year.

Even though Zealots leagues are IDPs I rarely see trades involving defensive players so it's hard to get a feel for value. I'm glad I won! :towelwave:

10 Team Dyno with 10 IDP start(3DL,4LB,3DB) 1.5 per tackle/.75 assist,4 points per sack

Team A trades:J Bosa/M Garrett/A Ogletree/R Ragland

for

Team B trades:E Griffin/B Graham/K Alonso/M Smith/A Thielen

Team B rebuilding and not a contender

Bosa side big time. Is it me or is that extremely one-sided? Maybe I'm undervaluing Thielen? Just seems team B is getting the 2 best players. Maybe I'm missing the small league (10 team) dynamic?

I'd want Thielen before Bosa for this year, so makes sense if in win now mode.  Long term I'd take Bosa side though.

Arodin said:
Thielen is a good enough offensive weapon to make that a fair trade, but excellent work by the rebuilder to get younger across his entire IDP corps.
Agreed. Thielen doesn't carry big name weight but it's a nice win-now pick up. Good trade for both sides, presumably.

Inattentive owners for the win...

Managed to flip Mack for Deion Jones.

Doubt that helps judge value in a shark league, but not everyone plays in serious contests.

That might not be bad depending on scoring systems.  A big play league (my league is 8 pts per sack and 1 pt per tackle) and this is fairly even.  Jones will be much more consistent scoring but Mack puts up the big games.  Good to have both types in your lineup.

Trade was on August 24:

A: gave up Miller, Von DEN LB (Mark Ingram owner with very good LB core)

B: gave up Williams, Jonathan NOS RB; Year 2019 Round 5 Draft Pick

Team B posts now as #humblebrag :D

Depends on the league, but in most of mine Miller is a liability at any level.  We have a contract years cap and Miller traditionally finishes as LB40 or so.   That's not a guy I want to roster, give me someone with at least a prayer of finishing in the top 12.  Miller has none in my leagues.  Not that I'd be happy with Williams and a 5 as the return, but if I took over a new team with Miller on it I'd be looking to move him for whatever I could get.

Here is one from the main thread that might get more traction here:

A gave up Hunt, Kareem KCC RB;Attaochu, Jeremiah FA DE;Ogbah, Emmanuel CLE DE
B gave up Gillislee, Mike NOS RB;Penny, Rashaad SEA RB;Jack, Myles JAC LB

Others:

A gave up Flacco, Joe BAL QB;Thompson, Chris WAS RB;Cole, Keelan JAC WR;Gedeon, Ben MIN LB;Sendejo, Andrew MIN S
B gave up Matthews, Rishard TEN WR;Whitehead, Tahir OAK LB

A gave up Hitchens, Anthony KCC LB
B gave up Year 2019 Round 2 Draft Pick from B; $5 in blind bidding

A gave up Walker, Anthony IND LB; Year 2019 Round 3 Draft Pick from A
B gave up Nelson, Jordy OAK WR

A gave up Mack, Khalil CHI LB
B gave up Green, Virgil LAC TE; Year 2019 Round 2 Draft Pick from B

A gave up Year 2019 Round 3 Draft Pick from A;Year 2019 Round 5 Draft Pick from A
B gave up Alonso, Kiko MIA LB;Burfict, Vontaze CIN LB

A gave up White, James NEP RB;Anderson, Robby NYJ WR;Ngakoue, Yannick JAC DE; Year 2019 Round 3 Draft Pick from A
B gave up Ware, Spencer KCC RB;Edmunds, Tremaine BUF LB;Haden, Joe PIT CB; Year 2019 Round 4 Draft Pick from B

A gave up Henry, Derrick TEN RB;Landry, Jarvis CLE WR; Year 2019 Round 3 Draft Pick from C
B gave up Chark, D.J. JAC WR;Williams, Mike LAC WR;Smith, Jaylon DAL LB; Year 2019 Round 1 Draft Pick from B

One of my leagues starts the draft today. Two trades over the last few days - both involve my team. PPR superflex starting 21 each week, my team is very deep at LB and very thin at WR.

1. gave 2019 4.08 for Jurrell Casey

2. gave Kwon Alexander for 2019 2.09

@Hankmoody - Title change to 2019? Not a huge thread and seems best to keep the history over a few seasons.

2 more from the same PPR SF above. First is mine, second does not involve my team.

I  gave up Bates, Jessie CIN S; Year 2019 Draft Pick 3.13

for Year 2019 Draft Pick 3.06

Not an exciting return on Bates but I'm loaded at S (Jamal Adams, Landon Collins, Geathers & Jenkins), have quite a few picks, and needed the roster space. Despite quite a few offers sent out, nobody was buying.

S gave up Dalton, Andy CIN QB; Year 2019 Draft Pick 1.10

P gave up Michel, Sony NEP RB; Payne, Da'Ron WAS DT; Hughes, Jerry BUF DE

14 team. Start 11 IDP

Gave up Danny Trevathon, Quincy Williams(got on ww), 2021 3rd(early to mid)

for

2020 2nd(mid), 2021 2nd(late)

i own all 3 Bear LB as made trade for Mack when his designation changed to DE in Oakland. Danny was LB10 for me.

Team A got Year 2019 Draft Pick 2.13; Year 2020 Round 6 Draft Pick from Team B; $2 in blind bidding
Team B got Neal, Keanu ATL S

Team A got Montgomery, Ty NYJ RB; Perryman, Denzel LAC LB
Team B got Year 2019 Draft Pick 3.04

Dynasty, 12 Team, Avg IDP scoring

Team A gets Joey Bosa, 2020 4th round

Team B gets 2019 Mid 2nd

This is standard roster size of 40, start 3 DL/LB/S.
Does that mean you start 3 at each of those positions or you start a total of 3 IDP players?  If it's a total of 3 IDP players then I probably want the 2nd rounder and I really wouldn't even care about IDP at all.

No, it's 3 at each position. DL is much harder to find blue chips than LB and S. I should be set now, as I'm pairing him up with D Lawrence and C Campbell.

12tm IDP PPR

Gave: Jatavis Brown, Josey Jewell

Got: Dee Ford, 2019 3.01
I like it for you.  Not terribly high on Ford, but starting DL with good fantasy potential aren’t easy to come by, and you only gave up two guys who very well might never amount to anything,  3.1 is gravy, potentially another solid idp.

This is what I thought. I have Littleton, LVE, Davis and Warner as my top 4 LBs so doubtful the 2 I gave ever see my starting lineup and I'd rather take my mid round chances on IDPs in the draft.

16 team IDP PPR salary cap dynasty

Team A Tremaine Edmunds LB/Buffalo

Team B R1.16 2019 pick (which became WR Hakeem Butler)

If you needed LB help and IDP scoring matters then I would rather have Edmunds.
Edmonds finished #12 in FPG for the position in this league. The difference between his #12 and #20 was less than a FPG. Pretty negligible, imo. Butler does require a leap of faith, for sure, but the upside is tremendous.

Where do LB's normally start getting drafted in your league?  1.10 is about normal (this year was more like 1.07) in mine and I would pay far more than that for Edmunds.  I'd give the 1.04 this year easily.

This year White was picked up tail end of the R1. Previous years it was usually tail end of R2 at the earliest.

Well I suppose it depends on your league.  You didn't say what your starters are so if there are only a few LB/IDP then maybe the pick is worth it but I'd far and away prefer Edmunds in most cases.
