LEAGUE OPENING HAS BEEN FILLED
Hello FBG's! High Above Courtside is a league that is finishing its eighth season and we have an open franchise in the league. It is a points based league with contracts and an auction draft.
The franchise that you would be taking over has some very good players like Steph Curry ($47 salary), Carmelo Anthony ($17), Derrick Favors ($8), Paul Millsap ($24), Jordan Clarkson ($1), Serge Ibaka ($5) and De'Aaron Fox ($7) among others. We are looking for an enthusiastic, good spirited and competitive owner who wants to be active in league discussions and overall chat. We have a Facebook group that serves as the league’s main mode of communication, so it is required that you have an active Facebook account that you'll be able to use to check the league's group page often.
Here is the league's primitive off-season guide that I made as a guide for the league history and record keeping. It has the league's constitution and other informative nuggets, like league history and previous years keepers, for instance.
COST: The cost for the league is free. The league is hosted on Fantrax which has served us well. It is a premium Fantrax league, but the cost was covered this past season.
PARTICIPATION: With an online league, if 12 owners are just setting their lineups and not chatting and discussing things, the league either dies or is no different from a Yahoo Public league. So, for that reason, our group stresses dedication in terms of not just the bare minimum of setting lineups and transactions, but also participating on our Facebook group page.
