First (on name only) - Doom and Quake had the first iterations that I can recall of BFG - Big F*cking Gun and variants eg BFG 9000, etc.

Second (on pure comical value) - Duke Nukem 3D had the Shrinker which was a lot of fun. 

 
The Pig Sticker (dagger) in Diablo 3 because every time you do anything, it squeals like a pig.

Triggered another great memory.  Anyone remember "North and South" on the Amiga?  The cavalry was maddening as it would be able to dodge incoming fire and slice through everything.  Man...ticked my dad off like no other.   Good times.

Also, they Bootlegged Guns N Roses riffs and tunes throughout that game.  I miss it.  Loved coming off the elevator with bat in hand and lighting up that mofo waiting there.  Good times.
