This is probably a terrible idea but I'm all about terrible ideas for drafts, so I'm throwing it out there. My idea is a draft in the style of the FFA Music Drafts where we have a bunch of different categories and you can pick any player for any category but you are defining him for that category. Then at the end of the season, it will be ranked roto style 10-1 or whatever number of people want to participate in this ridiculous idea.
I'm thinking categories could include
Innings Pitched
Most Team Wins
Triples
Hit Batters
Outfield Assists? Or DRS
... and I thought since Gobbler seems to not be happening, we could include
Highest ERA (minimum XX IP)
Lowest AVG (minimum XX PA)
Most Team Losses
First Manager Fired
etc...
So for example for pick one, I might say 1.01 - Most Team Wins - Toronto Blue Jays the next person could go 1.02 - Highest ERA - Marcus Stroman etc...
.
Ridicule and category suggestions welcome.
