my thoughts exactly. I really like Hines, especially in best ball and Indy is probably a great landing spot but 12 is just too early. Especially in superflex. This one is wild, what the hell? Someone took Hines above Freeman, someone else took Ballage over Ridley.......
Silly rabbit I'd saymy thoughts exactly. I really like Hines, especially in best ball and Indy is probably a great landing spot but 12 is just too early. Especially in superflex.
Maybe the owner envisions Chris Johnson 2.0?
Most of those picks are based on pre-draft lists... Can't give much credibility to a draft on auto pilot. This one is wild, what the hell? Someone took Hines above Freeman, someone else took Ballage over Ridley.......

I agree with this, and yet I think he's going to be very good (in year 2).ESB that high is a level of risk tolerance I can't even fathom. That's being very generous--really its an awful pick.
It's hard to consider it when everyone is so young, but it does play a factor sooner than we think. Sony for instance is a relatively old rookie like David Johnson was (Sony is almost 3 years older than some of these other rookie RBs). Imagine how much higher David Johnson's value would be right now if he were about to turn 24 instead of about to turn 27.How much factor does age play in trying to separate some of these close calls?

Agree 100%.My takeaways from looking at these:
- This one is obvious, but the difference this year between 1.1 and 1.2 is monumentally huge. I don't really remember a year when there was a bigger gap between 1 and 2.
- I see no reason whatsoever to trade up from pick 1.6 to anywhere but pick 1.1.
The difference may not be huge but I’ll gladly take the 1.02 and get the guy I want. For me there’s a tier break in there after 1.04.My takeaways from looking at these:

Seems like I’m one of the few that didn’t mind the landing spot. I feel like he’s the kind of back they’ve been missing. A versatile player that can do it all and play all three downs. Not saying he will be the bellcow but that they can play him in any situation. Add in the first round pedigree and I’m inI really thought Michel would drop more.
exactly....the Pats have used a RBBC because of necessity and cost..but when they had Corey Dillon I don't recall them not feeding him the ball either.......now he is a rookie, but I doubt they burned a first on him to not use the kids talent.Seems like I’m one of the few that didn’t mind the landing spot. That sucks Andy. I am in four and they all have all teams paid.I'm in three Zealots leagues and none of them have all teams paid up so we can start drafting.
WTH? Do people even LIKE football anymore?
love what the guy has done so far. great year to stock up on the top 7 picks.3/5/6/7/11/12
How far would you expect a first round back with receiving skills to fall? I got him at 1.12 but that's superflex. (4 QBs went before him so basically 8th)I really thought Michel would drop more.
Exactly. I liked him before the draft, he fell a little but not far.Seems like I’m one of the few that didn’t mind the landing spot. I feel like he’s the kind of back they’ve been missing. That's about the only one. He's been going top 5 in almost all if the drafts. And top 3 in quite a few.How far would you expect a first round back with receiving skills to fall? I got him at 1.12 but that's superflex. (4 QBs went before him so basically 8th)
