Trump EPA: Rocket fuel in your water? Yes, have some. (1 Viewer)

Wilbur Ross doesn't have his own thread, but he may give Scott Pruitt a run for his money in the corruption bracket.

Lies, China And Putin: Solving The Mystery Of Wilbur Ross' Missing Fortune

"For most of last year, Ross served as secretary of commerce while maintaining stakes in companies co-owned by the Chinese government, a shipping firm tied to Vladimir Putin’s inner circle, a Cypriot bank reportedly caught up in the Mueller investigation and a huge player in an industry Ross is now investigating."

All perfectly normal.

Zinke is not as wealthy, but a wannabe. Exclusive: Zinke linked to real estate deal with Halliburton chairman. Zinke's foundation is providing assistance, but he said he resigned upon becoming Interior Secretary. Except the 2018 foundation report lists him as an officer, wife Lola as president and daughter as treasurer. No problem - the report was in error and he'll amend it.

Latest Pruitt issue:   Where are his emails?

If Pruitt is to believed, he's only sent one email to anyone outside of the EPA in the last 10 months.   Seems a little implausible.

While EPA says Pruitt does his government business on the phone or in person, his desk and cell phone call logs show periods where he made or received calls only infrequently.

Is there any accountability at all for the Trump administration? Or are we just in a post-accountability era where gov't officials can do whatever the #### they want?

Pruitt Aides Reveal New Details of His Spending and Management at EPA

Two of Scott Pruitt’s top aides provided fresh details to congressional investigators in recent days about some of his most controversial spending and management decisions, including his push to find a six-figure job for his wife at a politically connected group, enlist staffers in performing personal tasks and seek high-end travel despite aides’ objections.

The Trump administration appointees described an administrator who sought a salary that topped $200,000 for his wife and accepted help from a subordinate in the job search, requested aid from senior EPA officials in a dispute with a Washington landlord and disregarded concerns about his first-class travel.

Even taking into account how corrupt the Trump administration is and how the GOP is complicit with their corruption you'd still think someone would go "OK we really need to get rid of this guy now."

Whistleblower: EPA's Pruitt kept secret calendar to hide meetings

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and his aides have kept "secret" calendars and schedules to overtly hide controversial meetings or calls with industry representatives and others, according to a former EPA official who is expected to soon testify before Congress. A review of EPA documents by CNN found discrepancies between Pruitt's official calendar and other records.

EPA staffers met routinely in Pruitt's office to "scrub," alter or remove from Pruitt's official calendar numerous records because they might "look bad," according to Kevin Chmielewski, Pruitt's former deputy chief of staff for operations, who attended the meetings.

A CNN review which compared Pruitt's public calendar with internal EPA schedules and emails shows more than two dozen meetings, events or calls were omitted from his public calendar.

Chmielewski said that some interactions were intentionally removed from Pruitt's calendar after they occurred, such as meetings in June 2017 between Pruitt and Cardinal George Pell, who was charged weeks later with multiple historical charges of sexual offenses. Pell has pleaded not guilty.

---

If the allegations are true, the practice of keeping secret calendars and altering or deleting records of meetings could violate federal law as either "falsifying records" or hiding public records, according to legal experts interviewed by CNN.

"If somebody changed, deleted, scrubbed a federal record with the intent of deceiving the public or intent of deceiving anybody, it could very well be a violation of federal law," said Larry Noble, a former general counsel at the Federal Election Commission.

On top of being a corrupt pile of excrement he's an enormous a**hole too.

Scott Pruitt repeatedly asked his 25-year-old staffers to put hotel reservations on their personal credit cards rather than his -- then refused to pay them back. Breathtaking.

No wonder Trump loves the guy, takes after him getting services and then refusing to pay for them.

Pruitt is a horrible person and administrator,  but Trump and the GOP Congress don't give a crap

Fires Shulkin from the VA for far far less...and he was actually doing a good job.

Pruitt sucks at the job and is corrupt as hell and keeps his job.

It’s even more proof the drain the swamp stuff was bs from the start.
