Orlando is sending Jonathon Simmons, OKC first-round pick, and Cleveland second-round pick for Fultz.
For the number one overall pick that you traded up for? Why not hold and see what happens instead of this? That's a good return.
Ayton was 1 or 2 on almost everyones’ boards.trader jake said:Not sure Doncic was polarizing. The consensus among prospect nerds was Doncic at 1, then JJJ at 2. Nobody seemed to question Ayton or Bagley's talent...just how they would be as NBA defenders. Sometimes the Suns and the Kings show everyone why they continue to struggle, and the past draft was no different.
This week has been the most active deadline period I ever remember.Holy hannah...busy day.
I feel like I’ve said this but it probably has to do with the fact that he really really sucks. For the number one overall pick that you traded up for? Why not hold and see what happens instead of this?
I think Conley said he didn't want to go to Utah.largely, Utah feels they shouldn't have to overpay to help Grizz clear a huge contract
Because you might not even get that much. Plus, Sixers don't have the playing time to properly develop the young man.For the number one overall pick that you traded up for? Why not hold and see what happens instead of this?
pretty sure the $140mil is supposed give the "who cares?!" rights to the team that pays itI think Conley said he didn't want to go to Utah.
Nothing was going to happen with him in Philly. For the number one overall pick that you traded up for? Why not hold and see what happens instead of this?
But what happened to getting Ross instead of a struggling Simmons and a bottom 2-6 first round pick?I feel like I’ve said this but it probably has to do with the fact that he really really sucks.
The pick is Top 20 protected.Good return to get a first at this point for Fultz. Simmons has been terrible this year.
He added a ton of muscle last summer and finally looked like he could handle the center position. But he didn’t any playing time at all this year so it was impossible for us to evaluate his development. Almost surely a nothing trade but there’s some upside for the Blazers.WOJ BOMB!!!
I am surprised Labissiere has had zero NBA impact to date.
They just wanted to wash their hands of it. GL to Fultz. Hope he can have a career now with no pressure. For the number one overall pick that you traded up for? Why not hold and see what happens instead of this?
JMO Fultz isn't worth a 1st round pick at all given his mental/physical issues and salary. I thought Philly did well to get much of anything for him.The pick is Top 20 protected.
He’s not worth Ross. But what happened to getting Ross instead of a struggling Simmons and a bottom 2-6 first round pick?
Wesley Matthews will agree to a contract buyout with the New York Knicks, and the Indiana Pacers are frontrunners to sign Matthews, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium.
Reporting with @IanBegley: The Knicks and center Enes Kanter are working on a separation that could be completed as soon as today.
Not sure who yet but I'm surprised Derrick Rose didn't come up in more trade talks. The guy has been very very good this year and would have been a great help to any contenders as a rental off the bench. So what backup PGs might shake loose in buyout market?
Brand is proving to be a perfect GM match for Brown. Forest, meet treeThe pick is Top 20 protected.
10-cent head but a Whitehead-with-a-trey to anyone who figures him out. He's the one i wanted Traitor Danny to make a sneaky play for, even with Timelord in the barnHe added a ton of muscle last summer and finally looked like he could handle the center position. New Orleans confirms it has kept Anthony Davis past the trade deadline, pushing talks into the offseason.
Here's reportedly one if he doesnt decide to head back to Europe..So what backup PGs might shake loose in buyout market?
According to Chris Hayes of Yahoo Sports, the Clippers plan to waive Milos Teodosic.
Milos is a gifted passer and a talented offensive player, but his defensive shortcomings resulted in him being unable to crack the Clippers rotation. He appeared in just 15 games this season, averaging 10.0 minutes per contest. It's possible another NBA team picks him up after the deadline, but Milos may choose to return to Europe.

...and got the Lakers to bite on the "Charlie Brown trying to kick the football" routine. Seems doubtful LA will have the best offer for AD this summer. Doesn't mean he still won't end up there, but that same offer will still be there. NOLA just needs to hope whoever wins the lottery is more interested in Davis than Zion. Otherwise they cash out to Boston.@ShamsCharania

I don’t think that’s fair - his b-ball IQ is fine, he is just raw.10-cent head but a Whitehead-with-a-trey to anyone who figures him out. He's the one i wanted Traitor Danny to make a sneaky play for, even with Timelord in the barn
I dont want Gortat to join the Warriors!Gortat wants to join the Warriors. Who doesn't?
Probably right. When Fultz played with confidence, you could see the potential. But most of the time out there he has looked timid. I found myself stressing watching him just hoping he would cut, move, or drive but he mostly was passiveHe’s not worth Ross.
I’ll just never get over that his college team went like 9-25 with 2 wins in a bad conference. That was such a giant waving red flag that everybody ignored.Probably right. There is video of him shooting pre-draft where he is hitting every shot. But the way he swings his arms after each one seemed a little weird to me — curious that no scout cared.
Gortat can want, but the Warriors will end up signing Robin Lopez when the Bulls eventually buy him out.Gortat wants to join the Warriors. Who doesn't?
Yea I don't get it. I don't scout college but for all those professional scouts that do, Fultz was consensus #1. Who knows what happened.I’ll just never get over that his college team went like 9-25 with 2 wins in a bad conference. That was such a giant waving red flag that everybody ignored.
how has the defense been?Good return to get a first at this point for Fultz. Simmons has been terrible this year.
Magic & Pelinka did tell NOLA that same offer for AD wouldn't be available this summer.Lol at the Lakers dumping Zubac for nothing.
it is.is that Cleveland 2nd to the Sixers for this year?
a 2019 second-round pick (most favorable Cleveland Houston Orlando)

And thus concludes what we'll refer to as the Retweet Armageddon era. Good luck, Markelle.
Like a guy who's sent out for milk & comes back with chips, jerky, beer, li'l Debs...............no milk.Elton Brand is one active mother####er.
