What's your oldest FFA message? (1 Viewer)

my first post nominated Cocker's "With a Little Help...." as Best Song Intro, my 2nd was this:

these days, there are politicians in almost every race whose ambitions overpower all their better angels. i cannot find my way clear to vote for persons such as these, even if they are the ones whose political outlook is closest to my own. this year, those two were Romney & Clinton and i wouldnt vote for em under any circumstance.

First post was evidently in the ptts thread in '05, which I don't believe.

First thread was the Tesla one in '06, which is still going strong, amazingly.

 
Hey. You may have seen some references around here to "The Cage." If you're not familiar with it, what people are referring to is a forum on the :e: side board where a bunch of the funnier posters from the FFA go to post, uncensored. No language filter, no holds barred. Any topic is greenlighted. People can settle their scores from the FFA there without fear of reprisal. We're working on getting all locked/deleted threads in the FFA moved over so the hijinks can continue. Good stuff.

Why am I telling you this? Not a whole lot of folks are posting there now, and it's time for that to change. I am inviting my favorite posters from the FFA to join up, and you are one of them. I figure we can get a nice FFA microcosm going there where we can talk smack about the morons among us, and discuss topics without walking on eggshells. Really, the only thing preventing it from being a full-blown uncensored FFA is the relative lack of traffic. Oh, there's also a good arcade there, and a bunch of porn. Yes, you get all this for free !

All you have to do is go to :e: and register. You will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly thereafter, then post away. The best Cage posters will be granted full access to all :e: forums, if so desired, which is the ultimate in cool. Really. However, if one chooses to remain clique-neutral, posting in the Cage does not alter that. It's a public forum for all intents and purposes. We have a bunch of FBG mods there who are really cool guys - it's fun to see what these folks are like with the "shackles" off. Plus, we have Otis. Oh, did I mention there was porn?

My earliest (on this ID) is from Dec 2010 with @Abraham regarding The 2010 Secret Santa. Didn't want to post it because it contained addresses!

MY oldest recorded FFA post is from December 2005. I cry foul because I had so much time on my hands at work in 2004 that it is inconceavable that I did not post in the FFA then

No reason for me to have a hockey helmet, but i'll be dammed if I pass on a free one. What do you want in return? any interest in any art? I could do something for ya. maybe put it in a lttle fram and you can hang it up and think about me every time you walk by. if youre not an art guy, i could just send you the money for shipping.

I have no idea what that is.  From @urbanhack in June of 2005.  I can't even follow who is saying what.

Title was "Just got this PM from someone".  

From what I can tell,  @Payne  PM'ed urbanhack that he didn't like threads that I started.

Ha, oldest message in my inbox is from ten years ago.  Long exchange with @Ditkaless Wonders re: our alma mater.  At the end I promise to give him a call... which I still haven't made. :lmao:
