How many coaches out there hold a similar view? How concerning would this be if your son played for him?

If you genuinely believe that the science hasn't confirmed a link, that's fine. But don't use that as an excuse to avoid basic safety principles.

I haven’t followed this issue too much over the years. Do any of these studies mention a control? I guess I’ve never really heard much about what the general public’s brain looks like.
