David Moore, WR (CHI) (2 Viewers)

Seahawks WR David Moore (arm) will miss the next two games.

Coach Pete Carroll said he expects Moore to make a return shortly after that, but Carroll is always optimistic. With Moore sidelined, DK Metcalf and Jaron Brown will be thrown into big roles behind Tyler Lockett Week 1 against the Bengals. Both receivers offer zero floor, but the Seahawks are expected to put up nice offensive numbers overall, so there's some type of ceiling to chase if you're feeling risky.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said David Moore (shoulder) could be back for Week 3.

He was ruled out for Sunday's matchup with Pittsburgh despite getting in a full week of practice. At one point it looked like Moore could be headed to I.R., but he's made a rapid recovery and could return to Seattle's pass-catching corps as soon as next week. He won't provide any redraft value, but he's still a helpful depth piece for the Seahawks.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said there's a "really good chance" David Moore (shoulder) plays in Week 3 against the Saints.

Moore got in a full week of practice prior to Seattle's Week 2 matchup but didn't make the cut. Now presumably healthier, he's trending towards playing. He'd take Jaron Brown's spot in three-wide sets with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett sticking as the team's two primary receivers.

This may be the end of the line.  After starting the season injured, he's played 7 games and has 21 targets, 10 receptions for 139 yards, and 1 TD.  With Lockett and Metcalf hogging the targets, he seems to be Wilson's 4th option at best, even behind Brown.

He seems to get end zone targets, so there's that.

David Moore caught 2-of-4 targets for 65 yards and one touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 13 win over the Vikings.

Moore entered this one with 11-170-1 on the season. He laughably had a potential touchdown go under his hands -- not through them, but under them -- in the end zone earlier in the game but was able to rebound by roasting Xavier Rhodes for a 60-yard score later. Moore is not a fantasy option.

David Moore caught 3-of-4 targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 4 win over the Dolphins.

With time ticking down in the second quarter, the Dolphins forgot about Moore down the left sideline and he hauled in a 57-yard, catch-and-run bomb from Russell Wilson. The Seahawks' No. 3 wideout entered the proceedings with seven grabs for 78 yards. In an offense this explosive, there will be days like today for Moore, but they will be impossible to see coming, rendering him irrelevant for fantasy purposes unless DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett get hurt.

Top 50 for the season...

13-18-13-17, has several duds but he isn't the WR1 or WR2 here. Today vs the Rams in a game they will need to air it out or expecting a shootout.

Moore seems like an easy 50/TD potential today as the WR3 in Seattle's offense that doesn't seem to throw a lot to the TEs and RBs. Moore is going to be TD dependent and has several games with 3 or less targets to boot so he has to catch almost every pass his way to produce for owners.

Today vs LA seems like a terrific spot again.

They can’t all work out, but I’ve been noticing the same as you and holding Moore in a dynasty league. I never “want” to start him but he’s flex-worthy during bye weeks and if Lockett or DK ever gets hurt, he may be one of the few “WR handcuffs” out there that becomes an instant must-start. (I consider Moreau behind Waller to be a similar situation)

Not sure if he could get a sniff of any starting lineup in 12 team leagues.  Droppable in all formats.

David Moore caught all three of his targets for -6 yards and one touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 12 win over the Eagles.

Hard to accomplish that stat line. Moore's first catch was blown up for a five-yard loss on a fourth-down call at the goal line. His second was a one-yard touchdown on an end-zone fade. And Moore's final grab went for a two-yard loss. He's a big-play third wideout who splits snaps with other ancillary parts in Seattle's offense.

Panthers signed WR David Moore, formerly of the Seahawks, to a two-year contract.

Moore is not a 1-for-1 replacement for Curtis Samuel, but for now, he takes his place on the depth chart. A situational deep threat, Moore got usurped by all-world starter DK Metcalf in Seattle last season and his yards per catch plunged from the 17s to 11.9. That number probably won't go back up if Teddy Bridgewater remains the Panthers' starting quarterback, but the situation is fluid. It's also quite possible Moore eventually becomes the Panthers' No. 4 wideout following another addition. Although the Panthers had three fantasy viable wideouts in 2020, Moore is highly unlikely to be a 2021 consideration.
