Cincinnati shooting - post news here and only news (1 Viewer)

I'm sitting here at work and a message popped up from our corporate office about this.  I guess its pretty close to where the shooting occurred, but we haven't heard anything since then.

I'm about 2 miles from there and my brother works a few blocks from there.

sad.  so sad.

I work in the 5/3 tower and was there this morning. Got there early but went to the lobby for a breakfast sandwich about 8:15. Shootings happened about 45 minutes later. We were in lock down until about Noon and were then escorted from the building by ATF. I'm home now watching the news and heard the guy had 500 rounds of ammo on him.   People were very quick to respond and take this guy down otherwise many more would have been impacted.

So sad. I just can't wrap my head around these acts of violence with intent to kill or hurt as many people as possible.  :(

Damn! Glad you're ok, GB.

I’d say, my biggest fear working for a bank, but this is america, so its just my fear of being anywhere wrong that day.

glad many are safe.

500 rounds. JFC.

I live in Charlotte but have done a decent amount of work right near there. Been to restaurants in Fountain Square a bunch so I know exactly where that is. So glad they got him quick, that could have been way worse. Just so awful.

A good friend of mine lives in Cincinnati and this one hit close to home for him.  That is his bank and 2 of his kids have worked there, including his son who just finished his internship there a few weeks ago.  I'm glad his friends and family are safe, but my condolences go out to those who this POS killed.
