Browns At Saints - Game Thread

Recommended Posts

The Browns takeaways are incredible right now. They had a total of 13 last year, they have 7 through 6 quarters this year.

Their anemic offense is killing them though. 3rd and one, go play action and chuck it deep. 4th down lose 2 yards. FML

Their defense looks really good.  Very active, always hawking for the ball

Huh, the Browns might actually have the foundation of a pretty decent team. Can't believe they've kept the Saints in check like this.

Saints D showing some heart today, especially with short fields and short rest due to the fumbles on offense

Maybe, but I'm chalking this up to an inept offense by Cleveland.

Taylor is just the worst. Fire Hue so that someone competent can bench Taylor and the team will have a passing game.

That one point could loom large ... hmmm.

Saints laying their typical egg against the Browns :kicksrock:

Huge reprieve for the Saints with the 3rd down drop by the Browns.

Missed FG too. Saints score a TD on this next drive or they lose. This is the game.

Last couple drives, no touches for Kamara? Good play calling

His right wrist is dinged up (no link, mentioned during broadcast). Kamara’s stilli involved, but maybe limited.

He still pulled just like the other kick.

I'll be shocked if he isn't cut, unless he gets a chance to and somehow redeems himself.

Finally! Michael Thomas’ 2nd TD.

EDIT: and Kamara with the 2 pt conversion.

Now the best the Browns can do is tie, because yeah Gonzalez.

It's a shame for the D, because the offense is so bad.

Whoa. Browns look great.*

*Excluding the kicker. He's going to get cut before the game ends.

Oh no no no. :bag:

This is the type of secondhand shame I feel when watching Michael Scott do anything on The Office.

He should just take off his uniform after the game and start figuring out his travel plan for wherever he is going.

The again, Brees is going to go right down the field anyway.

If he makes the two XPs the Saints don't go for 2 and would just be 20-20

Now Coach Hue's brilliant strategy unfolds.

They will get a FG, go to OT, and end up with a 2nd tie.

It's on Hue's bucket list of things to do.

Open NFL season with 2 ties when my job is on the line.
