So if they scored 2 minutes later they should go for it? Makes no sense

Do they absolutely have to? No. What is the mental idea of being tied right now do? I don't get this.

Tied is much better than losing for several reasons. What’s better about being down 1 vs down 2?

With about 10 minutes left in the game, it sure does suck that the Chiefs have to get a TD to win this game.

And perfect example why just happened. Pats kick fg and now Kc has to score a td and can’t tie with a fg.

Has nothingto do with being tied. There's almost no difference between being down 1 or 2 but a huge difference being tied. Now they need a td.

Why wasn’t that face guarding or whatever that call is? Definitely wasn’t looking for the ball, definitely had his hand in front of the guys face. Thought that used to be a penalty.

As long as you don't interfere it's not a penalty anymore.

This is almost reaching soulfly proportions.

Sammy Watkins with the handoff.

As much as I want a Chiefs win, that play was comical to me (for no other reason than I could imagine smoke literally coming out of PennStater's head).

Wow good thing it's kinda easy to score TDs on New England and Kansas City isn't some offensive juggernaut or something.

If they’d gone for 2 earlier this could be a FG to tie. Oops.

Or had they gone for 2 and not gotten it, they would have had to go for 2 this time to get the lead up to 3.  Granted, their offense should be able to get the 2 one of the two times...

And now the pats will be able to tie with a fg after this next td and 1. Repercussions.

And they we get overtime! Yay! :pickle:

Is Mahomes really the best QB in football (and it's not even close) or am I just overreacting after 6 weeks?

If only New England had a big guy at the TE position who could catch the ball to help move the chains and score touchdowns.

Not yet. You have to do it longer than six weeks to be the best. But I could see the majority calling him the best within a year or two.

Playoffs are a different animal. We’ve lost a lot of good QBs to the pressure of the playoffs.

Mahomes is damn good, that’s for sure, but he’s got some good skill players around him.

Oh yeah I definitely agree.  It's just that I can't recall ever seeing anyone with his overall skillset.  The complete package (more than even Rodgers IMO).
