I used to collect all kinds of cards back in the day and today someone at work was talking about the Menendez Brothers being in the Mark Jackson card.   Apparently, the Menendez brothers had already killed their parents in the photo.  Oh, it is worth about 7 bucks.

Once Ebay came on the scene everyone realized that basically all cards from the 80's/90's were grossly overproduced.  Prices plummeted on all those cards after a couple years of eBay.

That set was pretty interesting. Not only did it have the Menendez brothers Mark Jackson card--but it also has the Sam Vincent card.  The Sam Vincent card is strange because Michael Jordan is in the card--but he's wearing jersey number 12. Apparently Jordans jersey was stolen from his locker that night and he had to wear the number 12 for that game.  He got captured wearing it in Sam Vincent's card.

That card now has “buy it nows” $25+.  Amazing how little hype can increase the perceived value of a card that was worth $.25 a few days ago.
