Gronk, JWhite or AJones as my flex? 1/2 PPR.

Also...if Hilton plays, do I risk him or bench him for Gronk in my WR/TE spot?

Thanks Sig.

I’m curious if there is a strategy to this:

I have Roethlisberger and Brady. My opponent is playing both A Brown and JuJu. I know you have them close in the rankings this week. Do I play Ben because he’s starting those Pitt receivers? Or go with Brady because you have him ranked higher ( which I would normally do).

4 pt Throwing TD, 6 receiving. .5 ppr

Thanks in advance.

Hi sig,

League 1: .5 ppr, WR: pick 1, Boyd, DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel

league 2: .5 ppr, flex position: pick 1 among Ingram, Humphries, Davis, Arob?

league 3: .5 ppr, WR: pick 1 among Curtis Samuel, fitz, Humphries, Godwin

League 4, most important league!

full pt ppr starting 3wr/2RB/1flex

TE: Engram or Brate, now that OBJ will sit, give Engram an chance? Last week you selected Brate for me! It was a great call!!!!

RB: gurley is my RB1, on RB2, choose 1 among Aaron jones, Michel, Mack, breida (looks like he will play). I lean Aaron jones now.

WR: my WR1 is thielen. On WR2 and WR3, choose 2 among DJ Moore, Shepard, C Samuel, Reynolds? My current plan is DJ Moore and Shepard (obj sits, but if I start Engram at TE, do I cap Shepard’s upside?). Have Robby Anderson on my bench unfortunately didn’t play him.

flex: choose 1 among Michel, Mack, breida, or any of those WRs left above? I lean Michel but  Breida could be a good option if he will start?

DST: Chi or Atl (on ww)? It’s espn league dst scoring system.

you rock!

Hi Sig,

0.5 PPR, Pick 2 WR's:        Godwin, Golladay, Lockett, Corey Davis and Sterling Shepard

1PPR, Pick 1 Flex:     Marlon Mack (starting Luck and Hilton already), Elijah McGuire or Tyler Lockett

Thanks and good luck this weekend.

Sorry I wasnt able to get to any of these before game time

I have Justin Jackson as  strong RB2 (RB12-15 range) and Damien williams as a low RB2 (~RB20)

good luck!

Hey Bloom, which QB? Cam, Dak, or Winston?

And in 2nd league, would you bench Cam for Foles, Lamar Jackson, or Mariato?

finally at Wr in PPR Robinson or Samuel?

thanks and good luck this weekend!

PPR league. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE), 1 K & 1 DST

WR2: Samuel or Pettis

TE: Engram or Ian Thomas

At QB I have Luck starting ahead of L.  Jackson. Should I change if Hilton is out?

I had Damein Williams at flex (30.3) and Butker (4.0) going on Thursday night. Top guys left to play are Luck, Barkley, Kamara and Smith-Shuster

Opponent had Philip Rivers (22.65), Sutton (9.2) & Herndon (8.3). His top guys remaining are Gurley, Diggs & Lockett

Greetings Bloom,

Semi-finals.  Options are L Jackson, J Allen, and Winston.  Currently have Allen in my lineup.  All things being equal, would like to go with Jackson.  However, I just don't know what to expect from Harbaugh.  Not sure how how long LJ's leash is.  Don't know if Harbaugh will sub in Flacco for certain situations.  The stakes are too high to start a potentially, part time QB.

What are your thoughts?  What would you do?  Confident Lamar plays the entire game?

Also, Njoku or Brate (standard)?

Thanks again, for your assistance.

Hey Sig,

In a hole after facing Damian Williams in my PPR superflex league. Injuries have me scrambling to fill my superflex spot so I’m down to Kittle (Kelce is my TE) or picking up Foles or Driskel off the WW.  Thoughts?  Thanks!

If OBJ ends up out I'll need a last minute flex so looking to make a pick up in advance. Dixon, Richard, Gabriel, McKenzie, 1 pt ppr

4 points per passing TD. Need a QB.

Weather looking ugly in SF. 100% chance of rain and 15 mph winds. Baltimore not much better. Light rain, and colder.

* R. Wilson @SF -- Laid an egg last week. Matchup much better this week @SF. SF is weak against the pass and has only 2 ints all year. SF D is also much stiffer against the run so maybe SEA will be forced to the air more often. Wilson threw 4 TDs last time out against SF.

or

* L. Jackson vs TB -- Good matchup. Been solid but hasn't reached his ceiling...yet. Flacco could be available.

Opponent has the likes of Kamara/Mixon/Diggs/Cooper/Rudolph while I have Gurley/Chubb/A. Jones/J. Gordon/DJ Moore/Gronk.

Feel l should go for ceiling.

Which?

Thanks

Defense question. Usual along with pts for yardage/points allowed.

* CHI vs GB -- Feel like nobody is sitting them, but don't love the matchup with Rodgers not throwing an INT in forever.

* DET @BUF -- This matchup looked a lot better a couple weeks ago. Over/under low, but Allen is getting it done, and DET lack of offensive punch could put pressure on the D.

* ATL vs AZ -- Lousy D meets lousy offense.

Which?

Thanks

thanks for your help this season!

4pt passing td, need 1 qb

luck v. dal

wilson @ sf

mitchell v. GB

josh allen v. det

.5 PPR

Hey bloom, really could use some thoughts on these bottom of the barrel plays, desperate times. I can only play 2

E. McGuire vs HOU

D. Hamilton vs CLE

T. Patrick vs CLE

R. Foster vs DET

0.5 PPR. Bonuses for 100+ rushing/receiving, 300+ passing, 50+ TDs.

Need upside—I’m projected to lose.

Luck

Miller, White

AB, Gordon

Gronk

JWilson, Anderson

CHI D

BENCH: Lamar, Lockett, Golladay, Gus, McGuire. Falcons’ D is also available.

Should I move any bench players to my starting roster? Worried about Golladay with Stafford injury/White blanketing him. McGuire may be a volume flex play. Also hesitant to bench the #1 D for the Falcons.

Thanks for all you do, Sig!

Relax brosef. He's providing us an awesome service by answering our questions individually, free of charge to boot.

I'm sure he'll answer all of our questions in an orderly fashion
I think you misunderstood my post. That was more expressing excitement about WK15 and a placeholder to draft my question.

Hi Sigmund, in early trouble - opponent put up 64 with Damien and Mike Williams.

  1. QB: Rodgers, Winston (or pick up Josh Allen)
  2. Need one RB & a Flex (PPR): Cohen, Samuels, Howard, Ingram or Edelman
Thank you!

Siggy Smalls! Sorry so many questions but 6/6 week 15 leagues thanks to your podcasts and help! Thank you so much for everything you do, hope to have many questions next week.

6pt TD - Dak or Cousins (Got Keenan'd  and lamar millered and need upside, Cousins looks a little better with Rhodes but ugh)

Cam or Eli (4pt TD...UGH!)

.5 PPR Flex spot: Evans,  Cooper,  Samuels knowing what we know with Conner

Standard TD heavy pick one  (got Keenan'd/millered here as well and need TDs/upside) Aaron Jones, Gimpy TY Hilton, Gimpy Brieda, Gimpy Conner

Standard TD heavy TE J. Samuel or Cameron Brate (knowing what we know about Conner at the moment)

.5ppr brate or Engram with OBJ out

10 team ppr, coin flip match up. Having some trouble figuring out the right combination of WRs and flex. Need to pick 2 WRs and one flex (WR/RB/TE). If possible would love to hear your thoughts for (Scenario A) where Conner does not play and (Scenario B) where Conner does play.

QB: B. Roethlisberger

WR: B. Cooks, M.Evans, A. Robinson, K. Golladay, C. Samuel (ww: K. Stills, Tre. Smith, R. Anderson)

RB: E. Elliot, J. Samuels, J. Conner, T.Riddick, J.Kelly, R.Smith, S.Ware

TE: R. Gronkowski, J.Samuels*

PK: M.Bryant

TD: Chicago

* Yahoo league so Samuels is TE eligible.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

PPR League. J. Conner gets in a limited practice today and is now listed as questionable. Let's assume he's active on Sunday. Which RB?

* A. Jones @CHI -- Horrible matchup. Period. But he should get touches if GB wants to keep Rodgers alive. Or will J. Williams make too much of an appearance?

* K. Doxon vs TB -- Ty Montgomery INACTIVE. A lot of rain in Baltimore as well. Good matchup. BALT should have their way. G. Edwards still in the mix, but  should see plenty of touches.

I'm looking for upside facing Kamara/Mixon/Diggs/Cooper.

Who?

Thanks

thanks so much Mr Bloom...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

good luck in your fantasy leagues

Hi Sig,

Thx for your help.  Without you and Waldman, I wouldn't be in all three semi's across my leagues.

League #1 - thx to the cruel FF playoff gods, I'm crippled and going into the semi as a 10-15 pt underdog.

My only real choice for shooting for upside is D. Watson vs. L. Jackson - which one would you pick?

League #2 - with OBJ out, would you back up with D. Pettis or J. Reynolds?

thx again, btw, why are you moving to the Big Easy?

Thanks in advance!

I need one WR in non PPR.  Allen Robinson, Pettis, Shepard, Westbrook or one of the Bronco WR's not named Sutton?

Also, the Titans or Falcons DST where points and yards allowed are heavy scoring factors?

Hey Sig, always appreciate your insight.

Hopefully you get to this in time.  Full point PPR:

Samuels on Sunday with the possibility of Conner coming back (As of now questionable) vs. Lamar Miller Saturday as a sure thing, but possibly less upside. Playing the underdog so looking for decently high ceiling. If I sit Miller then I have Mack or Dixon waiting in the wings if Conner sends Samuels to the bench.

Bonus question: 0.5 PPR Help me fill my flex between:

Mcguire, Peterson, Humphries, Pettis, Dixon, Anderson; also looking for boom bust more than a safe play.

Thank you for all your diligent work this year.

Morning Sig,

Full PPR -  After a few players for both teams I am favored by 5.

Ben but I also have Luck

WR1 Hopkins

WR2 Corey Davis, Ridley, Fitz?  Opponent is starting Matt Ryan.

RB1 and 2 - Chubb and Mixon

TE - Samuels

2 flex spots - Fitz and Aaron Jones currently but I will also have Drake, Dixon, and Ridley assuming I roll with Davis in WR2.

Thanks!

Sig full ppr pick two

 ty hilton juju edelman

pick one

njoku or ian thomas

would you play both chubb and njoku on the road?

Hi Sig,

Two positions giving me concern this week 15 in PPR league:

WR- I usually start Mike Evans and Tyler Boyd.  Picked up Daesean Hamilton and feel so very tempted to start him over Evans because of Evans matchup with Ravens. (I usually follow the never bench your studs mantra so feel trapped here.)

TE- Evan Engram is finally healthy but going against Titans D who don't give up points to TE's.  Picked up Vernon Davis and also have CJ Uzomah on bench.  Engram sure ain't a stud but I am scared of Titans D.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you for your help!

hey sig,

carr @CIN

foles @LAR

driskel vs OAK

mullens vs SEA

keenum vs CLE

mariota @NYG

tanny @MIN

also need to start 2 rb, 2 flex from these in .5 ppr:

j. howard  vs GB

t. coleman vs ARI

j. samuels vs NE

a. jeffrey @LAR

mcguire vs HOU

riddick @BUF

richard @CIN

r. anderson vs HOU

plz and thanks man

Thanks in advance!

Bears (vs. GB) or Minnesota (vs. Miami)?

PPR:

T. Cohen (vs. GB) or J. Samuels (vs. NE)?

Deep breaths Bloom,

Semi-final QB start

Watson - HOU @ NYJ

or

L Jackson - TB @ BAL

I'm smelling Jackson by a nose? lol

Other league .5 ppr at TE and Flex - start 2

Gronk - NE @ PIT (Big game and he should be heavily involved)

Samuels - NE @ PIT (Connor plays some?)

White - NE @ PIT (Usage has steadily dropped - just when you think he's bench material he scores twice?)

Leaning top 2 unless Connor is a go?

EDIT: Follow Connor, then Gronk or White in .5 ppr.

Hey Sig, thanks as always for the help

Standard scoring, no PPR, please pick 1

RB: D.Henry vs NYG, Samuels vs NE or Wilson vs. SEA

Facing a couple of dilemmas, on top of "#1 seed expectations" and being at the mercy of lady variance in the playoffs:

1. QB - stick with Newton? or pick up Dak Prescott? Others on the WW are like Mariota, Mayfield, etc. I am leaning sticking with Newton as the "favourite"

2. DB - stick with Budda Baker? or pick up an alternative (Whitehead, R. Jones, Tre Boston, D. Randall...). I am leaning toward picking someone up, at least someone healthy.

3. Flex - struggling with him having a potentially good matchup against NYG or Sony Michel v. a good Steelers D. I have no idea. Coin flip?

My Lineup:

QB - Newton [WW - Dak]

RB - Elliott, A. Jones

WR - Nuk, Thielen

TE - Kelce

Flex - Michel [Henry]

LB - Leonard

DL - Donald

DB - Baker [WW Pickup - TBD]

Opponent: Rivers/Lindsay/Fournette/Hill/Adams/Engram/D. Martin/T. Smith/Garrett/Bates

Standard league. Slightly big-play weighted IDP scoring.

Thanks for the input, all leagues are PPR

_ If McCoy sits, Ivory or DIxon?

- Pick two: Alshon, DIxon, Mike Williams, Cobb or Baldwin (cobb if you didnt get mike in)

- Pick two: Damien Williams, Dixon, Alshon, Corey Davis Or Boyd (Boyd if you didn't get damien in)

Thanks always appreciated
sorry i didnt get to this in time
