1/2/3/1/1/1/1 PPR Keep 3 League (same bros for a solid near 20yrs)

Brees / Barkley / Chubb / M Thomas / M Evans / A Callaway (was Josh Gordon) / Engram / Conner / Fairbairn / CLE DEF

Not many changes to this roster throughout the season... Sprinkles of Austin Hooper, Tarik Cohen, John Brown, Adrian Peterson

So... Who got you there?

Start QB/RB/WR/2 Flex/TE/K/DEF - Standard scoring

QB - a complete Carousel of Wentz or whomever is starting for TB but using Mayfield for week 17

RB - DJ, Conner, Chubb, Ware/Dam.Williams

WR - T Hill, M Thomas

TE - Kittle

K - Fairbairn

DEF - Broncos

16-Team League - Standard Scoring, 0.04 Return Yards - I'm up against @The Frankman and expecting to lose as of right now

QB - Josh Allen (I dropped Cam Newton; benched him for Allen in last Sunday's matchup)

WR (Start 3) - Davante Adams & Some Combination of Robert Foster, Larry Fitzgerald, Chris Hogan, DaeSean Hamilton & Tre'Quan Smith (I own OBJ but he's effectively a cheerleader I can't cut from my bench; will wait for the outcome of the early games to assess whether I need to slot in a high ceiling dart throw like Smith over a high floor safety net like Fitz or Hamilton)

RB (Start 2 + Flex) - Tarik Cohen, Gus Edwards & Elijah McGuire (I also own John Kelly but there's very little chance I can play him at Flex unless I bench Edwards tonight and hear something more promising from Schefter than I have the past 48 hours; I sort of want to seeing how I poached Kelly before Gurley went down last week)

TE - Jared Cook

K - Greg Zuerlein

D/ST - Los Angeles Rams

This was an auto-drafted team that underachieved all season due to a lack of running back depth, made the playoffs at 7-6 with the lowest amount of points scored of all playoff teams thanks to a favorable schedule and then eked out a narrow playoff win in Week 14 against the top-scoring team in the league after a bunch of his players (Antonio Brown, David Johnson, Ertz, etc.) fell short of projection.

TheFrankman's roster is the following...

QB - Patrick Mahomes

WR (Start 3) - DeAndre Hopkins, Dante Pettis, D.J. Moore (may shake this up off the waiver wire on Friday to ensure any dropped players can't be claimed by other teams)

RB (Start 2 + Flex) - Dalvin Cook, Chris Carson and One of Jamaal Williams, Lamar Miller, Spencer Ware & Kalen Ballage

TE - Jaylen Samuels (no shortage of RBs on this roster)

K - Harrison Butker

D/ST - Tennessee Titans OR Minnesota Vikings

Start 1/2/3/1/1/1/1, PPR

Current team-

Darnold

Gurley, Kamara, Fournette, Ware, J. Williams, Ballage

Odell, TY, Alshon, Callaway, Patrick

Ian Thomas

Rams, Vikes

Zuerlein

Kamara was an 11th round keeper and J. Gordon as a 14th. Gurley fell to me at 4. Had Michel traded him for D. Freeman before Freeman broke the second time. Drafted Guice as a keeper, traded him to the last place team for TY late in the year. Started the year with Rodgers at qb, traded him Evans and Lindsay for Cam and Odell. I liked Cam’s playoff schedule and was terrified of Evans at Bmore and Rodgers at Chi week 15. So that worked out great. I flushed Josh Gordon and Shady this week. Fournette was inexplicably dropped a couple weeks before his return so I snagged him off waivers.

10-team league with all sorts of flex slots and no defense

QB- Patrick Mahomes

WR- Calvin Ridley

WR- Corey Davis

RB- Todd Gurley

TE- Christopher Herndon

WR/TE- Juju Smith-Schuster

WR/RB/TE- Derrick Henry

QB/WR/RB/TE- Mitchell Trubisky

bench- Eli McGuire, John Kelly, Robby Anderson, Jamaal Williams

I have two empty spots as well. I might add Mike Williams and Chris Hogan. I used both Davis and Henry last week in the semi-finals. Before the Titans-Giants, I posted on the league board that me likely using Davis AND Henry was risky because I didn't expect the Titans to score more than 20 points.

Cam Newton started for me in 12 of the 13 regular season weeks but I benched him last week for Trubisky. This not being a keeper league, Newton has since been cut.

16-teamer, start 1-2 RB, 1-4 WR, 0-2 TE, 1PPR for TE only

Mine:

  • QB: Ryan
  • RB: Gordon, CMC

Samuels, R Foster on the bench waiting to go in if needed. I love their enthusiasm. Fun building a team from other owner's panic.

Nuk and Landry w/no clue on my #3 WR right now (Foster, Patrick, Pettis, Samuel - blegh)

Team decimated by injuries.  Here's likely my starting lineup now:

QB: Allen

TE: G. Everett

Flex: R. Anderson

The fallen: Beckham, Freeman, Kupp, AJ Green, Boyd, Olsen, Newton

72 team dynasty (6 leagues, 12 teams each, top 3 from each league makes the playoffs where you can play against teams who may have similar players).  QB -RB-RB-WR-WR-TE-Flex-Flex, and RB's get 50% more points per yard rushing.

Goff or Baker

Gurley, Mixon, Lindsey, Samuels

Cooper, Lockett

JuJu, Corey Davis

I got some tough decisions

14 team PPR Superflex with TE bonus.

QB Jared Goff, Aaron Rodgers. Josh Allen on bench

RB. Barkley, Elliott, Gordon. Also have Ware or Williams. Could promote Ballege

WR. Thomas, Evans, Diggs, Foster. Also sit with Allen, Odell,

TE. Engram. Also have Rudolph, Ian Thomas

Pk. Crosby. Could go Tucker

can go more RB or TE and less WR. Just need 2 WR

DL. Hunter, Lawrence, Jordan

LB. Roquan, Mack, Vanderbilt Esch, Jarad Davis. Also have Kendrick’s, Myles, Trevathon, Cunningham, Ogletree

DB. John Johnson, Simmons, HaHa, Vonn Bell

opponent

Mahomes, Mixon, Lindsay, Evans, Julio, Odell(Reynolds or TreQuan Smith if he doesn’t go), Herndon, Cohen, Samuels, J Tucker, Titans D

sadly have Bell, AJ Green, and Kupp on bench

PPR, 12 team league, finished 10-3 and tied for first, top scoring team in league.  My tenth playoff appearance in the ten years of the league's existence, and seventh title game appearance (title game record is 5-1).  This one should be a close one.

Current Lineup

RB - Alvin Kamara (drafted in 1st round)
RB - Nick Chubb (FA pickup)
RB - Damien Williams (FA pickup)
RB - Leonard Fournette (drafted in 2nd round)

WR - Robby Anderson (FA pickup)
TE - George Kittle (FA pickup)
K - Wil Lutz (FA pickup)

Boyd out - I don't think you will be disappointed with Ridley...just have a hunch he is going off this week.  Maybe that hunch is based on me putting him in the lineup...but it is still a hunch.

I have two title games I am in.  16-team auction league with 8 players on contract and an 18-team keeper.  With the help of Footballguys, I typically leverage my IDPs into a significant advantage.  Most owners all but ignore them.  Both leagues have IDP points for passes defended making the DB pool fairly deep.  I'm up for my second title in 3 years in the 18-team league, finishing 3rd last year.  The 16-team league is in it's inaugural season.

18-team  - Flipped Thielen, Cohen and a 3rd (late) for Kamara, Edelman and a 5th (early) after week 8.  IDPs can score as much as position players in this league, needless to say I'm very happy with mine.  Looking at a league record for wins, winning percentage and total points scored with 14-years of history.

  • QB - Watson
  • RB - Kamara, McCoy, M.Davis
  • WR - Edelman, McKenzie
  • TE - Ertz
  • IDPs - Watt, Hunter, L.David, Vander Esch, Wagner, Clinton-Dix, Kazee
  • K- Zuerlein
  • Bench - Blue, OBJ, Samuel, Snead, A.Walker, Fairbairn, Dalton (IR)
  • Dev - Kizer, D.Cain
16-team  - Roster limits of 2-QB, 3-RB, 5-WR and a practice squad for players officially out.  I dropped Conner before he was officially out to pick up Williams.  My opponent had Kerryon and was going to grab him if I didn't.  IDPs also strong in this league.

  • QB - Winston (might bench for Foles)
  • RB - DJ, Chubb, Jamaal Williams.  Conner helped get me here though.
  • WR - Diggs, Hilton
  • TE - LaCosse.
  • IDPs - D.Autry, Graham, L.David, Mosley, Vander Esch, T.Davis, Kazee, Slay
  • K - Lutz.
  • Bench - Foles, J.Brown, R. Foster, Pettis, Todd Davis, Wentz (practice), Olsen (IR)

Ware is now doubtful, so he's out too     I currently have Dixon in at RB2.

I also have CJ. Anderson and J. Kelly, but no other viable options are on the WW in the 4 oclock games or later so if Gurley plays I'd be taking essentially a zero 2 RB2.  And if Gurley doesn't play I'm not sure I'd even start the right player - I know McVay said Anderson would play but who knows if that's coach speak?

Gurley is going to play. Goff needs a few dump off / screen pass TDs to get his confidence up. And the Rams need Goff's confidence up. And they need this game. Yeah, it's the Cardinals, but don't underestimate how bad Goff has been lately.

I'm trying to stay positive. I have a chance of losing Gurley and Julio. And my Julio backup, Jeffrey might be out too. Which would leave me looking at Dede Westbrook or Josh Gordon. I think Josh has a good matchup this week though! :oldunsure:   (I've got Ingram as a plan b for Gurley).
