[Dynasty] 2020 NFL Draft Class (2 Viewers)

Per CFB Stats, Oklahoma State junior WR Tylan Wallace leads the FBS in receiving yards (390) and receiving touchdowns (six) through three games.

It's no surprise Wallace (6'0/185) has been one of the nation's best receivers, but he's alone at the top in terms of production right now. His nation-best 390 yards are off just 15 receptions, putting his yards per reception at a stunning 26.0 yards (the highest average among players with at least 10 catches). Wallace is also one of just two receivers with six touchdowns, tied with LSU's Terrace Marshall Jr.

Per CFB Stats, Oregon senior QB Justin Herbert is one of just three passers with 10-or-more passing touchdowns with zero interceptions.

Herbert is doing well to bounce back from an roller coaster junior year. Through three games, including one versus Auburn, Herbert has 11 passing touchdowns to zero interceptions on 105 attempts. The only other two QBs to hit the 10-plus touchdown mark without an interception are Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa (no surprise there) and Texas' Sam Ehlinger. UCF's Dillon Gabriel is close with nine touchdowns.

As Christopher Kamrani of The Athletic points out, Utah senior RB Zack Moss is one or two good games away from becoming Utah's career leader in rushing yards.

Moss' monster game against Idaho State locked the senior RB into second-place in career rushing yards at Utah. With 196 more yards, Moss (5'10/222) slides up into the top spot. Moss has two career games of 196 yards or more, as well as a 187-yard performance against BYU earlier this season. Maybe finding 196 yards against USC this week is a bit ambitious, he will at least close the gap enough this week to secure the record against Washington State on Sept. 28. Moss is also close to a slew of other rushing records at Utah, which should be expected of someone set to break the rushing record.

According to Pro Football Focus, Alabama junior QB Tua Tagovailoa scored a perfect 158.3 passer rating when kept clean in the pocket against South Carolina.

One may expect a QB as good as Tagovailoa to be perfect or close to it in clean conditions, but it's easier said than done. South Carolina HC Will Muschamp is a quality defensive mind and the Gamecocks have plenty of strong SEC talent. Regardless, Tagovailoa carved up the South Carolina defense, putting forth his best performance of the season in part because he executed to perfection when given good opportunities. Tagovailoa will continue his reign of dominance against Southern Mississippi next week.

Alabama junior WR Devonta Smith finished Saturday's win over South Carolina with a passer rating when targeted of 144.4.

Of the eight receptions (on 12 targets) that Smith had in the 47-23 victory, six resulted in either a first down (four) or touchdown (two). The junior wide receiver has caught 18 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns this season, with Alabama quarterbacks targeting Smith an average of 7.3 times per game. The Crimson Tide don't lack for playmakers at wide receiver, and Smith has been one of the team's top options through the first three weeks of the season.

Dobbins is making a case for top back in college football. I watched two his Ohio St. games so far this year and I don’t remember seeing a back make defenders bounce off like Dobbins. The kid runs hard as anyone eligible for 2020. Hubbard is another making a case for top dog.

Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline told Fran Duffy on the 'Journey to the Draft' podcast that Oklahoma senior QB Jalen Hurts' draft stock could hinge in part on a postseason bowl like the Senior Bowl.

Pauline believes that the NFL will be able to make a better judgment on Hurts in a pro-style type setting such as the Senior Bowl, as transcendent as the signal-caller's early work has been in Norman. He would like to see how Hurts performs outside of OU HC Lincoln Riley's magical system. One has to look no further than Baker Mayfield to see what Pauline is talking about. Mayfield was largely viewed as a Day 2 prospect during his final season at Oklahoma, but he excelled as a leader at the Senior Bowl, which helped to spark his ascension to the No. 1 overall pick.

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller writes that Vanderbilt senior RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn "has looked timid on tape and not quite as dynamic when making decisions on the go (as he did in 2018)."

"Vaughn's life won't get any easier as the Commodores enter conference play, but to regain his status as the top senior back, he has to get back on track with more of the three-down playmaking seen in 2018," Miller writes of the 5-foot-10, 218-pounder. Through two games this season, Vaughn has managed just 130 rushing yards (4.1 YPC) and one touchdown on 32 totes of the rock. He went off for 1,244 yards on the ground while averaging 7.1 YPC last season. He has a toughie on deck this weekend against LSU.

Houston senior QB D'Eriq King completed 16-of-33 passes for 229 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while rushing for a score and 116 yards in a 38-31 loss to Tulane on Thursday.

This was a sensational game, but it didn't look like it was going to be with Houston rolling to a 28-7 lead. It didn't last, obviously. King (5'11/195) opened the game with a 75-yard strike to Marquez Stevenson to give the Cougars a 7-0 lead. In the next quarter, he showed off his ridiculous shiftiness while rushing for a 35-yard score. That rushing touchdown along with the passing score means he's passed or rushed for a touchdown in 15 straight games, which is a new FBS record; breaking the record of a guy named Tim Tebow. That's the good news, the bad news is King struggled with accuracy for much of the game, and the Cougars fall to 1-3 on the season. King and the Cougars will try and get back on the winning path next Saturday against North Texas.

Wake Forest redshirt senior WR Scotty Washington caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 49-7 win over Elon.

Washington's two touchdowns bookended the starting offense's outing versus Elon. Washington (6'5/205) opened up the scoring with a touchdown catch on Wake Forest's second drive, then ended the starting unit's day with a second touchdown catch early in the third quarter to put the Demon Deacons up 35-7. Just four games into his senior season, Washington now has more touchdown catches (five) than he has had in any other season of his career. Washington will look to continue his scoring circuit against Boston College next week.

Wake Forest redshirt junior QB Jamie Newman completed 27-of-35 passes for 351 yards, five touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 49-7 win over Elon.

Newman continues his reign of dominance through the early portion of the year. Elon is the worst opponent Wake Forest has played this season, but Newman (6'4/230) stood up to the test against better opponents like Utah State and North Carolina in previous weeks as well. With the five touchdowns he threw today, Newman now jumps to 12 touchdown passes on the year to go along with three rushing touchdowns. Newman will lead Wake Forest on the road against Boston College next week.

Alabama junior WR Henry Ruggs brought in four passes for 148 yards with two scores in a 49-7 rout of Southern Mississippi on Saturday.

Both of Ruggs' touchdowns came in the first-quarter from the golden left arm of Tua Tagovailoa; a 45-yarder with just-over 12 minutes left in the period, and a 74-yard connection with Tagovailoa about six minutes of game time later. Ruggs (6'0/190) made a few more plays before there was no need to play him. He doesn't get the hype of Jerry Jeudy -- and in all honesty, he doesn't deserve to, Jeudy is a different level -- but that's not an insult to Ruggs; he'd be the best receiver on most programs. Expect more fireworks from the tandem next Saturday against Ole Miss.

Alabama junior RB Najee Harris ran for 110 yards on 14 carries and caught one pass for five yards and a score in a 49-7 shellacking of Southern Mississippi on Saturday.

Harris's touchdown was a five-yard strike from Tua Tagovailoa that gave the Crimson Tide a 21-0 lead less than a minute into the second quarter. That's the third receiving touchdown in the last two games, as Harris (6'2/230) has shown he's more than capable of contributing in that aspect, so far. He also showed off his power on a few runs against a C-USA program that just didn't belong on the same field as the Crimson Tide. Expect more dominance from Harris next Saturday against Ole Miss.

Alabama junior QB Tua Tagovailoa threw five touchdown passes on 17-of-21 passing for 293 yards passing on Saturday in a 49-7 blowout victory over Southern Mississippi.

It just continues. Tagovailoa was a little late and hung the ball in the air a few times, but for the most part, the 6-foot-1, 218-pound signal-caller was his usual efficient self; connecting with star wideouts Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy for four of the five touchdowns. The other score was to Najee Harris. The weapons Tagovailoa has are unfair, but the fact those weapons have a quarterback as good as the southpaw signal-caller is? Ridiculous. Tagovailoa and the Crimson Tide get Ole Miss next Saturday.

Michigan senior QB Shea Patterson completed 14-of-32 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 35-14 loss to Wisconsin.

Just an ugly, ugly performance by Michigan as a team. Wisconsin led the game 28-0 at the half and Patterson's touchdown passes in the third and fourth quarters merely served as window dressing on a shattered window. UM's offense under OC Josh Gattis has fallen all kinds of flat in September, but this loss wasn't just on Gattis, Patterson and company. Michigan's defense looked like a defanged tiger throughout. The Wolverines should be able to sooth their wounds against Rutgers next week, but they are going to need to show major improvements if they have any chance to remain nationally relevant deeper into the fall. We'll be curious to see if the team begins to give Dylan McCaffrey more serious run upcoming.

Michigan junior WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (foot) caught one pass for a five-yard touchdown in Saturday's 35-14 loss to Wisconsin.

Peoples-Jones (6'2/208) did not play in either of Michigan's first two games. He was a non-factor in his season debut, only making the box score when he caught a five-yard touchdown pass with under five minutes remaining in a game that had essentially been decided before halftime. While the junior did little on Saturday, his return to action should provide a boost for the Wolverines over the coming weeks as they look to find something resembling an offense (not great so far Josh Gattis, not great). DPJ will try to get into the swing of things in earnest against Rutgers next weekend.
