Nah just fries is fine. I won’t be so obnoxious as to ask people to call them Belgian fries, but that’s where they are really from.
I’ll sell my child for a double double animal style, but the fries have always been meh to me. Even when you order them extra crispy (well done) they are third tier at best.

I like almost all the food at Chick-Fil-A ...except for the waffle fries. They aren't ever cooked enough - they are mealy and not crunchy. That wonderful sauce can't even save them.

Couldn’t agree more. Its the first thing I checked. Any fry ranking list that has In N Out anything but last should be discarded. Its a shame, since the burgers and shakes are spot on

Agreed. The flavor and saltiness are usually pretty good, but they need to be crisper.
they have the potential to be great ...but I don't know what the problem is with the clearly regulated under-cooking of them.
This is/was my complaint but in the past year I’ve noticed that they've started to make them crispier at a lot of the chick fil as I frequent here in the DMV.

I didn't mind the thick fries, i just liked the flavor better. I will still eat them now (had some the other day
), just preferred the old style.
Malt vinegar and a healthy amount of salt on crispy fries are ambrosia. I am glad this is a thing that seems to finally be working its way out of the UK and the Commonwealth into the US.
I live like 1/4 mile from an In-n-O. It’s always packed. 90% of the time the cultish goons make the parking lot impossible to navigate.
