Updated week before the draft with one trade I think might happen.

===========================================

1. Arizona Cardinals - Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma (5-10, 207 pounds, 9 1/2-inch hands)

Rumors of a drop prove untrue as he is a perfect fit for Kliff Kingsbury's Air Raid.

2. San Francisco 49ers - Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State (6-4, 266 pounds 4.79 forty)

Can't pass on NFL bloodlines and top DE from deep class.

*TRADE*

 3. New York Giants (from NY Jets) -  Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State (6-3, 231 lbs, 5.04 forty)

Giants have done a ton of work on Haskins, they won't risk losing him.  Give up 2nd round and late 3rd round pick to move-up.  Eli provides time for Dwayne to develop.  Size, arm, accuracy, pocket passer, despite slow forty at Combine has good athleticism.

4. Oakland Raiders - Josh Allen, DE/OLB, Kentucky (6-5, 262 lbs 4.63 forty)

Raider had a half sack less than Kalil Mack had by himself last year.  Raiders get a big break and take advantage to address dire need.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama (6-3, 303 lbs, 4.83 forty)

Bucs also get lucky and land what could be the BPA of the draft.  Explosive, huge,  causes havoc/disrupts interior.

*TRADE*

6. New York Jets (from NY Giants) - Ed Oliver, DT/DE, Houston (6.2,  287 lbs)

Never understood his fall in mocks.  Jets move down, recoup their 2nd round pick and acquire a late 3rd and get an interior disruptive force.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama  (6-4, 302 pounds)

He comes in with a solid pass pro resume and capable in the running game.  His stock is back up and OTs go higher than expected.

8. Detroit Lions - T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa (6-5, 251 lbs, 4.70 forty)

Not uber-quick but is a devastating blocker with sure hands.  Said to be the 'safest' pick in the draft..

9. Buffalo Bills - Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State (6-5, 315 pounds)

Said to be the best pass blocker of the class.  Riser during draft process with a solid Senior Bowl and capped it off with solid Combine. Can play LT.

10. Denver Broncos - Drew Lock, QB, Missouri (6-4, 228 pounds).

Flacco isn't the answer.  (Woody Paige✔@woodypaige Drew Lock at No. 10 to Broncos. Elway and Kubiak were very impressed when they saw him in November.)

11. Cincinnati Bengals - Devin White, ILB, LSU (6-0, 237 lbs, 4.42 forty)

Plays run, comes off the edge, and can cover over the middle.  Perfect fit at dire need.

12. Green Bay Packers - Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida (6-5, 312 pounds)

Agile, intelligent, good technique, can play on an island.  Projects to LT but RT Bryan Bulaga is in his tenth season and a contract year.  Taylor solid fit.

13. Miami Dolphins -  Devin Bush, ILB, Michigan (5-11, 234 lbs, 4.43 forty)

Dolphins need help everywhere.  Don't reach for QB or O-Line.  Get 'solid' pick here.

14. Atlanta Falcons - Rashan Gary, DT/DE, Michigan (6-4, 277 lbs, 4.58 forty)

Falcons might get bargain as Gary falls.  Size,  speed, power, heavy hands, can play multiple roles.  Enough base to anchor, power to disrupt interior, speed off edge

15. Washington Redskins - D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss  (6-3, 228 lbs, 4.33 forty, 27 reps, 40 1/2 inch vert).

Size, strength, and blazing speed.  Prototype #1 WR but may be limited on route tree.

16. Carolina Panthers - Montez Sweat, DE/OLB, Mississippi State (6-6, 260 pounds, 4.41 forty, vert 36 inches)

Panthers address need.  Long/lean, frame can fill over time, comes with med concern (enlarged heart) have him falling a bit.

17. NY Giants (from Cleveland Browns) - Brian Burns, DE/OLB, Florida State (6-5, 245 lbs, 4.53 forty)

Long/rangy explosive, added bulk did not lose speed.  Productive, 15.5 sacks.  Can cover MOF.

18. Minnesota Vikings - Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma (6-4, 329 lbs)

Big need filled.  Not polished but  can contribute immediately with physicality as a pass protector or paving the way in run game.

 19. Tennessee Titans -  Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma (5-9, 166 lbs)

Vertical field-stretcher with elite speed, uber-quick exploding in and out of routes. Coming off Lisfranc. missed Combine but huge game-breaking potential

20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Byron Murphy, CB, Washington (5-11, 190 lbs, 4.55 forty)

Bookend for Joe Haden.  Not huge but aggressive play maker/ballhawk with solid cover skills.

21. Seattle Seahawks -  Christian Wilkins, DT/DE, Clemson (6-3, 315 lbs)

Wilkins is a good value here, offers versatility.

22. Baltimore Ravens -  Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson  (6-4, 264 pounds)

Don't reach at WR, instead get falling bargain.  Can seal the edge as a run stopper and is explosive as pass rusher.

23. Houston Texans - Garrett Bradbury, C, North Carolina State ( 6'3", 306 lbs, 4.92 forty, 34 reps, three-cone 7.4, short shuttle 4.53 - top six)

Agile, powerful, with elite athleticism. Dane Brugler says he is the top interior O-Lineman.

24. Oakland Raiders (from Bears) -  Greedy Williams, CB, LSU (6-2, 185 lbs, 4.37 forty)

Steal, long, lean, speedy, physical corner with 'decent' agility.

25. Philadelphia Eagles - Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama  (5-10, 220 lbs)

Just missed out on Greedy so settle for top ranked RB of this draft class.

26. Indianapolis Colts - Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson (6' 4", 342 lbs)
Run stuffing defensive tackle who can push pocket.

27. Oakland Raiders (from Cowboys) -  Noah Fant, TE Iowa (6'4", 249 lbs, 4.5 forty, 39½ vert, 10'7" broad jump, 6.81 three-cone, 11.49 60-yard shuttle)

Mike Mayock has a hell of a draft with DE/OLB Josh Allen, CB Greedy Williams, and TE Noah Fant.

28. Los Angeles Chargers - Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame ( 6-6, 295 lbs, 4.93 forty, 34 ¼” arms, 32 vert, 9'7 broad)

Known to be solid as a three-technique his Combine numbers shown true upside as a pass rusher.  Suspended at Fiesta Bowl in 2016, has matured.

29. Kansas City Chiefs - Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia (5-11, 193 lbs, 4.52 forty)

Cover skills with good size, decent closing speed, can play press man.

30. Green Bay Packers (from Saints) Nasir Adderley DB, Deleware (6'0, 206 lbs)

Decent size, can play single high safety so he fills a need, has good range.  Can also return kicks.

31. Los Angeles Rams - Jaylon Ferguson, OLB, Louisiana Tech (6-5, 259 lbs. )

Rams don't have many needs.  Edge addressed.  Explosive pass rusher,  solid run stopper.  Not invited to Combine, could be gem.

32. New England Patriots -   Irv Smith, TE, Alabama (6-2, 242 lbs, 4.63 forty)

Don't move up for Fant still get an effective run blocker who runs sound routes, flashed upside at Combine.  Fills need.

Always like seeing mocks, so thanks for putting another out. That being said, could you explain this pick a little more, because I think after his embarrassing pro day, and off field issues, that he's a day 3 pick.

Four years of solid production means more than bad pro day IMHO.  17.5 sacks last year and 29% of tackles were losses.

The battery charge is from 4 years ago.  The league had invited him to the draft but removed him to avoid any criticism on the heals of Robert Craft's controversy and other embarrassing  charges against other but Jaylon has been clean over the past four years.

The Rams are weak with EDGE pass rush so it is one of few areas they need upgrading and Fergie was the last top EDGE out there.

I felt he earned the right to be at the draft and I think he's pretty good.

If  Devin Bush, ILB, Michigan (5-11, 234 lbs, 4.43 forty) is available, I prefer him at 12 for Green Bay

Drew lock to Denver in like 95 out of every 100 national mocks tells me it's probably not happening
Yep. And no Daniel Jones in the first?
Scouting Missouri quarterback Drew Lock 312 Drew Lock has all the tools, but needs development. Could Rich Scangarello turn Lock into a superstar?

One prospect who may interest the Denver Broncos with their 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is former Missouri quarterback. Drew Lock.

...Does Drew Lock make sense for the Denver Broncos in the first-round of the 2019 NFL Draft?:

He’s the best fit for the Broncos in this draft.

The Broncos interest in Lock is well documented. At the Senior Bowl is was being widely spread that the Broncos and General Manager John Elway was in love with Drew Lock. There were even reports/rumors that the Broncos have been doing their homework on Lock as well. Now all of this was before they acquired quarterback Joe Flacco, but I am willing to bet his acquisition didn’t change much on Lock...

...If the Broncos are looking for their quarterback of the future in this draft then Lock should be their guy. He fits best in a vertical passing offense, something the Broncos plan on having under Rich Scangarello. So it makes a ton of sense schematically and he is really the only top prospect in this draft who fits that mold.

Also, Rich Scangarello’s presence is key here. He was brought in to do two things for the Broncos. One was to implement the zone-blocking scheme that flourished in Denver before and the other was to develop a young quarterback into a starter. His work with Nick Mullens is what made his coaching stock grow and San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan has vouched for his former coach countless times. So to see what he can do with a talented prospect like Lock is intriguing.

Daniel Jones is one of 56 college QBs since 2000 with a career passer rating of 125 or less with at least 1,000 attempts.

Of that group, Derek Anderson and Josh Freeman are the only two with a QB2 or better finish to their name.

I had Sweat for GB till the enlarged heart report came out.  No NFL player currently has this diagnosis so he 'might' fall even further.

I like Jawaan Taylor a lot.  I was  going to put him no lower than 8 to the Bills  so I think he's a bargain at 12.
