But Amy hasn’t lost since 4th grade.Good on him. :glaresatAmyandMike:
That one stings a little.Wow never seen an overhyped candidate from South Bend let fans down before.
Agreed. Seems like he's playing the long game. Clearly talented and force for the future.Historic campaign. We haven’t heard the last of him.
When Biden first ran for presBut Amy hasn’t lost since 4th grade.
Yeah, I’m dreaming thinking Mike will bail early enoughI think Amy would follow if MN primary wasn't Super Tuesday. Mike not-so-much
Should have known with all the overhyped players that have done it.Wow never seen an overhyped candidate from South Bend let fans down before.

Be honest: you've been saving this one for months now.Wow never seen an overhyped candidate from South Bend let fans down before.
Lol I thought about it the day I first heard where he was from.Be honest: you've been saving this one for months now.
Yep, I'm even happier to be his supporter now than I had been before. Pete.CNN confirmed. Brave and right thing to do and helps him earn party support for his future.
“If Pete decides to run in 2060 he will still be younger than Bernie is today.”Really liked pete. His future is bright if he wants it.
Same. Back to either Warren or Sanders. Not sure who to vote for on Tuesday now. Ugh.
Yup. By the same age that Pete is today, Bernie had basically spent all his time as a protestor, an “independent filmmaker”, and a carpenter. He wasn’t elected Mayor of Burlington until he was 40 years old. So Pete has a lot of time left to accomplish a ton, build support for future candidacies, etc.Maurile Tremblay said:“If Pete decides to run in 2060 he will still be younger than Bernie is today.”

Makes sense. Biden, like Pete, is a member of the Democratic Party.Rumored that Sanders surrogate Waleed Shahid got a random voicemail from Buttigieg in this now deleted tweet, where Buttigieg says he wants to 'share some news about his plans' with the 'vice president'.
Someone got an offscreen recording of the message- the VM, sent at 4:56, sounds just like him. The 'breaking news' was posted around 6:00pm. It appears that Pete, for whatever reason, really did want to keep Biden in the loop.
It didn't help that Bernie supporters kept implying he rigged Iowa while insulting himIt’s strange that someone who won Iowa (the most delegates anyway) is already out by Super Tuesday.
Best post in months. I don’t agree that Pete was overhyped but this is just too great not to love and respect.Capella said:Wow never seen an overhyped candidate from South Bend let fans down before.
I don't think it's damaged him at all. If anything, he's gotten stronger as this thing has gone on.As someone late to support to him, I guess this was inevitable as soon as I signed on. The death knell had sounded, apparently. I hope the process hasn't damaged him, and that he's able to come back a stronger person and an even better politician than he is now.
Good stuff. He really is naturally eloquent. Or practice makes perfect. Either way, he speaks very well. Even boilerplate stuff sounds good.I don't think it's damaged him at all. If anything, he's gotten stronger as this thing has gone on.
His speech last night was perhaps his best of the campaign

How about a guy who recognizes aNot a fan but I do have more respect for a candidate who sees no path forward more than the candidates who see an imaginary path.
Yeah, CNN didn't exactly show the best parts of his speech (but they did show the great parts of his husband's)Good stuff. He really is naturally eloquent. Or practice makes perfect. Either way, he speaks very well. Even boilerplate stuff sounds good.
eta* That's funny about the link. I think I got the gist. First his husband spoke, then he did.
Maybe he's not as progressive as you'd like him to be -- he seems to exude more the demeanor of a early sixties civics professor than a tear-it-down black star anarcho-socialist -- but that doesn't make him less charming or inauthentic about big "D" Democratic values.@KyungLahCNN

What a charmer. What a ‘progressive’.
I mean, was he supposed to stay in the race but dress up as a cheerleader for Bernie? Pete wasn’t my guy. I thought he sounded like a suburban Barack Obama cover band.@KyungLahCNN

You know what always works? Getting people onto your side in an election by insulting their candidate after he drops out. It's a proven winner.@KyungLahCNN

The toxicity and divisive rhetoric of Sanders' supporters/campaign this year makes him a non-starter for me (in the primaries)Dickies said:Same. Back to either Warren or Sanders.
I honestly don’t care what happens to Bernie. Vote for Biden if you want! It just bothers me that Mayor Pete was hailed as a ‘new age’ politician with bold ideas, while clearly being a careerist sellout with zero interest in anything other than serving the Dem establishment.I mean, was he supposed to stay in the race but dress up as a cheerleader for Bernie? Pete wasn’t my guy. I thought he sounded like a suburban Barack Obama cover band.
But Jesus, Bernie supporters make it hard.
Should they be happy that the candidate apparently explicitly wants their candidate to lose? You know what always works? Getting people onto your side in an election by insulting their candidate after he drops out. It's a proven winner.
