Seeking two new owners for a DFW Superflex/IDP dynasty league expanding from 10 to 12 teams – Are you willing and able to build a contender in a deep league starting from expansion draft? 

·         Should live in or in close proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex

·         League site on MFL, league fee $20 for 1st year, $10 for subsequent years (via PayPal preferred)

·         Must prepay next season’s league fee to trade that year’s rookie picks

·         30-man active roster (superflex & IDP) / 10-man taxi squad / 5-man injured reserve

·         Start 1-2 QB / 2-5 RB / 2-5 WR / 2-5 TE / 1 K / 2-4 DT+DE / 2-4 LB / 2-4 CB+S

·         Annual 8-round rookie draft

·         Biweekly FAAB from preseason week 1 thru week 13

·         6-team playoff (wks 14-16), winner receives league trophy, next year free league fee

·         Non-playoff teams play consolation bracket, winner takes rookie pick 1.01, runner-up 1.02, etc.

Expansion teams will draft 30 players on Saturday, March 30 from a pool of unprotected players from all other rosters, alternating picks.  Player pool for the expansion draft consists of 100 players currently rostered.  Expansion Team 1 drafts 1st in expansion draft, 2nd in rookie draft.  Expansion Team 2 drafts 2nd in expansion draft and 1st in rookie draft.  Rookie draft picks for expansion teams will follow consolation bracket teams in odd rounds and before consolation bracket teams in even rounds.  Date of 2019 rookie draft TBD, most likely around NFL Training Camp (no later than preseason week 1).

Rookie draft picks will be as follows:

·         Expansion Team 1: 1.06 / 2.01 / 3.06 / 4.01 / 5.06 / 6.01 / 7.06 / 8.01

·         Expansion Team 2: 1.05 / 2.02 / 3.05 / 4.02 / 5.05 / 6.02 / 7.05 / 8.02

Scoring

·         6 pt passing TDs / .04 pts per passing yard / -3 pts per interception or fumble lost

·         6 pt rushing TDs / .1 pts per rushing yard / .1 pts per rush / .5 pts per 1st down

·         6 pt receiving TDs / .1 pts per receiving yard / .25 pts per reception / .5 pts per 1st down

·         6 pt return TDs / .04 pts per return yard

·         Big play & total yardage bonuses

·         1 pt per tackle / 1.5 pts per TFL / 2 pts per sack / 3 pts per interception or fumble

·         2 pts per blocked kick, safety, forced fumble, or pass defense

·         Expansion draft player pool will include scoring totals for 2017 & 2018 based on league scoring settings

Still looking.  Would welcome any feedback, whether anyone thinks the biggest obstacle is due to the location limitation, or not wanting to take on an expansion team (rather than startup or orphan).
