So what you are saying is that Chase received an emergency high interest loan that they have since repaid to our government, which made a profit on the deal?

So, if profit matters, compare the profit made on Chase's compared to what would have been made putting it in the market at 8k. Strawman argument and corporate socialism.

The level of hubris displayed by the beneficiaries of economic fascism never fails to incite me to staggeringly high blood pressure.  JP Morgan chase received 25 billion dollars in bailout money and is giving people condescending economic advice. I would have rather had our financial infrastructure completely collapse than prop up these thieves.

I'm closing my account today and moving to a credit union.

They all suck.  I worked for Citi and have plenty of stories from my 7 month tenure.

This is a little different, but the old Chargers tweets about PF Changs kill me every time.

That PF Changs tweet is a classic. The "employee forgets to switch to their personal account" genre is pretty solid: https://static.businessinsider.com/image/506d88f9ecad04ff7c000008-750.jpg

So disheartening how stupid, rich and powerful the corporate world is given how much admiration they are given in society (which is mostly created by the corporate control of the media and legal system).

US Airways had a real lulu of one. I can't even really describe it without getting banned here, so you're going to have to use some detective work. It involved a photo of a model airplane.

Holy crap, people in this world just love to complain.  I can't believe telling people not to buy coffee and instead make it at home is now considered controversial.

I havent read the whole linked twitter thread, most if it though, but i am surprised people didnt criticize them for the cab ride comment.

Say something about how they are making fun of disabled people or some other silly argument.

Curiously enough, Cruz once argued as Texas Solicitor General that sex toys weren’t a right.

“There is no substantive-due-process right to stimulate one’s genitals for non-medical purposes unrelated to procreation or outside of an interpersonal relationship,” Cruz’s legal team wrote in 2007.

I actually thought this was well done. I didn't know that THICC was racial or that people would take it as anything but anthropomorphic. I think it's funny and cute, but I could be totally underestimating the outrage machine.
