I expect this thread to be more active late next month... but the Giro is live and I don't expect an ***Official** 2019 Giro thread to get much play...   

The Giro has been a bit wild so far with Viviani being relegated after his stage 2 win, and the defending champ Tommy D abandoning before the start today after a nasty crash yesterday.  Roglic is continuing his hot form and took the pink jersey in the opening time trial.  I wonder if he can wear it the whole time?  The mountains start soon, so we will find out.

the race starts on Friday, looks like the deadline to enter the fantasy game is Saturday.  Do it.

yeah, the official game is still a mess with a much of rider options who are not even in the tour.

If you have a full roster your chances of beating me are about 98%, so I'd say you have to remove some folks even it up.

I had that same question, this game format kinda sucks.... but once you select the team you are set. 

P.S. I forget who, but somebody is one ridr short, and someone else joined, but did not select any riders. 

P.S. That Lexus virtual tour 3D sprint tool was pretty awesome

Worried about the rider in red that went over backwards and hit the back of his head square on the street.  It was a bad one and he hadn't moved by the time they cut away.

Yeah, don't know, but I'm going to look into that.  I wouldn't have picked Sagan, so nothing lost, but I'm definitely going to move it around if you can.

You can.  At the least it looks like you can change the team captain for the day.  That will make a huge difference in sprint/mountain stages.

With that team captain thing the variance will be huge.  Jump in - you should be able to fold in pretty quick.

BTW, I hate the fact I can't see the teams now.  We're well past the start date - it kills the interest to see how everyone else's guys are doing.
