Anyone watching this Marshall game? They've got a receiver (Obi Obialo) who has been injured all year, he comes back for tonight's game, and he gets 8 catches for 146 yards.

Today in the President’s Athletic Conference (D3):

Case Western (9-0) hosts Carnegie Mellon (7-2) in the Academic Bowl  CWRU has already won the conference title and has its ticket punched for the D3 playoffs.

Grove City (7-2) travels to Thiel (0-9 and as seen on TV) battle for the Mercer County Cup. Grove City has applied to participate in an ECAC bowl game and can improve their resume with a win over the Tomcats.

Tua talks Saban to let him back in...inevitably leads to an injury. If it’s season ending it’ll be a decision that goes down in infamy.

Can someone tell me who at UMass decided that making the jump to FBS football was a good thing?

They have to be one of the worst program in FBS in a region where major college football is down on the food chain with facilities on par with a decent Texas HS program.  How long can they sustain at this level as an Independent while drawing a few thousand fans per game?  Naively optimistic at best that they even stood a chance I'd say.  Drop football outright or go back down to FCS as they may be the case study on why not to make the jump to FBS.

It has to be, considering the level of pain expressed on Tua's face.

Mac and Taulia from here on.

Yeah don't know what Saban was thinking up 28.    Tua is just taking too many injuries.  Best if he just shut it down and waited for the draft.

Edit.  Initial word was being treated for broken hip but reality was this was precautionary and no diagnosis yet.

 Sounds similar to Bo Jackson
