Sources: Pick protections in Thunder/Rockets, Russell Westbrook/Chris Paul trade: 2024 first round pick, protected 1-4 2026 first round pick, protected 1-4 2025 swap, 1-20 protected 2021 swap, protected 1-4 -- OKC can swap Clippers pick or Heat pick.

With all these power duos throughout the NBA I’ve heard the new look NBA referred to as the NBA Jam era.

How would you rank the duos?

- LeBron James & Anthony Davis

- James Harden & Russell Westbrook

- Kawhi Leonard & Paul George

- Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving

- Steph Curry & Klay Thompson

- Porzingis & Doncic

For those wondering, source tells @TheAthletic that OKC does this deal with full anticipation that Chris Paul will be part of a good team that now has a treasure trove of future assets. Gallinari, SGA, Adams, Roberson, Noel core, and EIGHT new 1st rounders, as @Travonne noted.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul, first-round picks in 2024 and 2026, pick swaps in 2021 and 2025, league sources tell ESPN.
FADE ROCKETS.

Big part is Rockets were able to keep Capela. Idk, I'll be honest I think Houston could surprise us. They could either get to the WCF, or it could burn in glorious fashion.

Danny Green: Kawhi wanted own route, never wanted to sign with Lakers

In other words: Kawhi didn't want the media fondling LeBron while Kawhi carried

Miami can’t trade any firsts because five of their 7 are owed to or impacted by protections to okc, but I guess they could alter or remove some of those protections to be more favorable for okc.

Screw making Miami better at this point. A Jimmy Butler injury (guy played for Thibs for the better part of a decade) and those picks look incredible
