TRUMP TO INFINITY AND BEYOND HQ - The Great and Positive Place (12 Viewers)

There’s only one of those, and so that’s what I’m doing.

And it was certainly garbage, you’re right about that. His complaint about “Parasite” winning Best Picture”, his longing for a return to movies like “Gone With the Wind”, have racist overtones.
You can't even start to compare Parasite with Gone With the Wind.  Parasite was an average movie at best.  The type of dark comedy that's been done in the US a thousand times.

You know how to make a war movie worse?  Film the entire thing from one vantage point.

Ford vs. Ferrari?  Yeah guys love cars movies haven't been done before.

The Irishman?  Like you've never seen that group do a mobster movie before, only this time they're a few years short of doing it in wheelchairs.

So, on a year with zero movies worth celebrating they toss the coin and decide to give it to Parasite with the hope that it helps with their own racist image.  lol

How dare you. Worst take of in the history of takes!

What the?
Yeah that was pretty terrible, Tim. You should self-report yourself for that nonsense.

The rally was here in Colorado Springs. I couldn't attend (had to take a sick cat to the vet) and frankly looking at the crowd and cars, I am sort of glad I didn't. I can't believe people camped out the night before. It was 17 degrees and the ground is still covered in snow. The amount of people watching outside was almost more than what was inside. . I ended up watching it on tv at home and it was really like a rock concert--just amazing all the energy in that building.

Of course the local media had to focus on the two dozen protesters that attended and the 6-8 of them who decided to lay in the road and get arrested for some reason.

The Best is Yet to Come

Freedom boner time!!!!!

The left is in meltdown mode once again because Lara Trump tweeted this video.

If Trump had a D after his name this speech (closing from the SOTU) would be regarded as one of the greatest in American history)

🇺🇸
Glad you warned me about the boner. At cocktail party and excused myself to watch this. BONER!!  Thank you fellow patriot.

USA USA USA!

I wish he talked like this more. We are a nation of exceptional people capable of great things. Too bad he thinks half of us are scumbags.

You misspelled deplorable.
Not a fan of that comment either, but as far as i know (and I could easily be wrong) Clinton said that in one interview, and it could be argued that it is taken somewhat out of context, regardless it was a stupid thing to say. The president has doubled/tripled down; calling democrats scumbags is basically part of his speeches now.

Dems are wetting themselves right now. Give them a break on thier vitriol they spew in here. They waisted 3 years on trying to overturn an election and all they are left with is a socialist nominee.
I think democrats are angry at more than the last 3 years.

It should be a good life lesson for them that after years of vitriol and childish behavior attacking Trump they get 4 more years of Trump because they have stooped lower than Trump in their behavior which appeals to no one.

That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close.  Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.

Yes, @GoBirds, “your side” appears to be winning; I can’t deny it, and I find the fact frustrating and depressing. Not because I am so eager to defeat you but because I honestly believe, with every fiber of my being, that this man is an awful President and that his re-election will be a calamity for the entire nation, as much for you as for me. And since I think that you and most other Trump supporters in this forum are honest (much more so than the man they support), I also believe that at some point in the future you’re going to be ashamed and embarrassed that you ever supported this guy. I hope it’s sooner rather than later.

Sorry but this behavior that many display in here is much more Trump like than leading by example. It’s a microcosm of the left in society. People see this hypocrisy and it’s such a turn off unless something drastic happens you will have 4 more years of Trump due to it. Sorry but that’s your reality. Look at your childish behavior in this thread the last few days, it’s pretty sad.

I think it's a much tougher case to make that the re-election is going to be a calamity when obviously the initial election wasn't. None of the doomsday predictions came to pass and now everyone, Republicans, Democrats, and independents, are more satisfied with the way things are going ( Gallup Poll ). The Dems have an uphill battle and I get that a dark forecast has to be part of it, but I'm not seeing a brighter future with any of the candidates on the left.

IMHO Trump is morally corrupt.

99% of the Republicans I know are good if not great people

I agree with a good portion of the GOP.

Bring back Eisenhower I say. I’ll vote for him 6 days a week and twice on Sundays.

PS - speaking of Eisenhower, anyone realize how liberal his AG was?  Love the balance his administration brought.

Have you looked at the left lately Tim? They are the most childish people on the planet. Even the great moderate Bloomberg is putting up billboards that say “Trump likes burnt steak.”  On a side note I think Bloomberg’s people are playing a huge joke on him.

I guess we define behavior differently. I don’t think I’ve been childish. I’ve offered my opinion. I even praised Trump yesterday when I thought he deserved it.

I do appreciate your implicit criticism of Trump here. But even if I agreed with you that the left is behaving like him, or worse, I still couldn’t by into this argument that “they’ve acted like idiots so let’s punish them, let’s show them.” I don’t want to punish anyone.

The forecast is mine, and I’ve explained why in detail (no need to do so again.) The Democrats have a much easier argument- protect ACA, protect pre-existing conditions. Unfortunately if they go with Bernie this winning argument, which Trump really has no defense to stop, is eliminated.

Agreed and I also feel the same about one of my great heroes: Ronald Reagan, who was overall the best President of my lifetime.

If you’re talking about the Bernie bots I agree.

Well...I would vote for Trump over one of those guys.
I'm not talking about quality of person, or ideology, I'm referring to them because their history was about the preeminence of loyalty to the leader as a value in a political system. Reagan's values of liberty and America's exceptionalism have no place in Trump's movement.

Tim at this point the answer to the basic question “are you better off today than you were four years ago” is a resounding yes for a vast number of Americans including minorities who you say trump hates. The only thing Trump sucks at is BEING a racist because his policies have lifted all the brown and black people up. I still predict a much larger number of support from those communities. Just watch.

The left can't go a day without calling for hearings on something.  It's sad really.  It's the boy who cried wolf to the American Public.

A dem rep called for house hearings on the recent Pardons and commutations.  That is crazy talk and a waste of everyone's time and our resources.  It's ridiculous and comes off as childish to me.

He's saying resentment of hypocrisy is a primary motivating factor for Trump supporters, above almost all other values. That's true.

Just a couple of clarifications:

1. I don’t think Trump hates minorities. I think he has bigoted views about them and states some of those views in order to be divisive to serve his own interests (which I find despicable). But IMO Trump only hates those who oppose him, and only while they oppose him. He only loves those who love him. He’s indifferent to everyone else (like any narcissist).

2. I don’t think we’re better off today. There’s slightly less unemployment, and wages are slightly higher, but it’s at the cost of huge debt. We’re absolutely going in the wrong direction in terms of climate change, our situation around the world is precarious, and our farmers are badly hurt due to Trump’s idiotic trade policies. People with 401ks are doing better.

Well besides completely shredding our democratic institutions, alienating our allies and pitting the country at each other’s throats. Oh and off the scale corruption. Denial off any constitutionally legitimate oversight efforts. Gutting career expertise accross multiple agencies. Attacks on the environment, public education, unions.....I could go on. Stuff is going to hit critical mass at some point.
