TRUMP TO INFINITY AND BEYOND HQ - The Great and Positive Place (5 Viewers)

Are we really doing the Kasich thing in here again?! It’s like every month now we have to remind people what the Democrats would do to him.

Look no further than Mitt Romney.  Tremendous moral character, highly respected with a sterling record and just a great all around guy.  Then he gets the Republican nomination in 2012 and is called a high school bully, a crook and a monster for putting the dog on the roof. They blamed him for killing a guy because he lost his insurance.

Harry Reid said he paid zero taxes!  Only to come out after the election and admit he lied (still can’t believe this).  Joe Biden stood in front of an African American audience and said Romney would put them back in chains.

I liked Romney a lot and am a big Kasich fan, but the Democrat Party would absolutely DESTROY him.  It’s laughable to think about really.  Especially in 2020 terms, the party is 20 times more vicious than it was when Mitt ran in 2020.  They would eat Kasich alive.

And this is reason number 1,383,493 that Trump is President.
You're probably right, but I'm just going to speak for myself that I am going to be able to look myself in the mirror for 4 years if I vote for Kasich in the primary and (if possible) in the general election.  If that means conceding the white house to the Dems, that still seems a preferable option to being "represented" the way we are now.

I feel like everyone talks about wanting a reasonable middle of the road candidate, but when a true moderate like Kasich is an option, nobody is very interested.

If the R's are all going to line up behind Trump again over someone like Kasich, maybe it truly is just the party of hate these days and I'm done.  Oh well.

Sad is believing investigating if Obama was born in the U.S. was racist.  Unreal people can hold that view.
Who was the other president or political figure did Trump investigate to see if they were born in the US?  Trump's base loves to refer to him as Muslim and call him Hussein.  But these are just because right?

Did you vote for Kasich in the 2016 primary?  I voted for Rubio.

IDK, most of us still think that character matters at least a little. You know, someone the children can look up to.  Do you think children have anything to look up to in Trump?

And before you shout Bill!!!!  You know as well as I do that he'd never be even nominated in today's world.  By dems that is, by Republicans he'd fit right in.
JFK is revered but the stories about him .....

Mitt was mocked by McCain and lots of the democrats because he didn’t drink & swear and was a good husband and father

meh I dont care about their private lives

Who was the other president looking to add another expensive entitlement and increase taxes whose parents were from Kenya and had rumors he was born there?

This had nothing to do with race but everything to do with trying to oust a dangerous man from office whose policies would set America back.

fair, not a chance, but hey, I at least like your optimism but I fear that it sets you up for another 'sky is falling' night come the 2020 election.
America won't be destroyed if Trump is re-elected. We're too strong and great for that.

But it won't be good. A lot of people will be hurt. Some of them are reading this. Maybe even you, who knows? His re-election would be awful for the United States.

Meh.  I have no fear of a Trump second term.  Warren and Harris...different story

I figured that was the case.  Just shows you how stupid the early polls are.

It is extremely early, anything can happen but we go with what we have now. You were saying the Dem field is in disarray or something similar yet they have 4 candidates that are ahead in national polls.

I was surprised about Santorum being ahead of Obama and googled. That poll you have is definitely an outlier: Polls

Holy crap. They're crying about people being foul mouthed now? The "grab em by the p****" bootlickers are crying about someone being foul mouthed... I've heard it all now.
Why is describing someone as 'foul mouthed' crying about it?  I guess they are crying about her wearing glasses as well.

IDK, their "grab them by the #####" leader called her "foul mouthed" so his followers need to parrot that phrase too.

I understand why he doesn't get the irony, and I guess I see why they don't either.

He did it for 8 years, his “investigations”.

That’s pretty moronic, no?
"Moronic but not racist" might be an accurate description of a skeptical person who decided to spend 5 minutes Googling Obama's birth status before realizing that the State Of Hawaii settled the question 45+ years earlier.

"Moronic and probably racisty" is a pretty good description of anyone who continues to "investigate" Obama's birth for 8 years.

You’ll just be classified as a left lib now.  You’re either for Trump or a lefty lib these days (ie a Socialist or according to Lindsey Graham a communist who hates America).

I'm actually an Independent that didn't vote for Trump, but the Democratic party rhetoric this past year has firmly placed me into the "voting for Trump" camp.

Do I agree with our handling of immigrants at the border(even if the same under Obama), no I don't.

Do I support the mistreatment of women, of course not.

But if I'm voting in the best interest of this country, I think there is a clear frontrunner right now for my vote and his name is Donald Trump.

God Bless America

Right, you’re for Trump. My point stands.  It’s a black or white world (no pun intended) in this political environment.  If you weren’t voting Trump you’d be classified as I stated.

I guess there is a chance for a centrist Democrat to come in and knock my socks off, but from the current clown show I've seen in the Democratic party...it doesn't look like it's very likely.

No it certainly doesn’t.

If only I had a nickel for every “independent who didn’t vote for Trump” who “would prefer a centrist Democrat” but now will be forced to vote for Trump next time around who posted in this forum. I’d be a wealthy man!

Here's a link to who the daily race card vets in here will be voting for come election time.

:own3d:  It looks like mods are okay with Trump being called a racist so from now on I will refer to Biden as a racist.  Somehow I have a feeling people will complain that is wrong.
I think it's absolutely fair to say that Joe Biden once said something 42 years ago that was: at best, racially insensitive; and at worst, overtly racist.

And if he still stands by those comments, then it would certainly be fair to call him a racist.

Until that point, however, it seems like a pretty weak deflection of Trump's blatantly racist statements in 2019.

Those statements look awful and certainly are bigoted.

It was also 42 years ago so he might have had a new thought or 2 on the subject and changed.  Has Trump changed from yesterday (or today in his backing up of his bigoted statement)?

No way he's for trump. He specifically said that disgraceful actions remove people from contention for his vote and I don't think any sane person would say Warren has had more disgraceful actions than trump. Him voting for trump at this point would be outright hypocritical.

Warren's misleading Native American claims are disgraceful, even for American politics.

She has no chance at my vote.

This is literally what the unhinged on the left and the regulars that troll in here do......try to twist anything they can into faux outrage. First time you get everyone’s attention.....second a lot still look.....9,567th no one is listening. You can’t keep crying wolf and expect people to listen. Jumping in this thread trying to get a reaction when there’s a Trump tweets thread to post in....Pretty sad.
For people who complain about the discourse.  You like to throw around unhinged and troll for people who disagree with you.
