Yeah, they’re talking about this on the Indians radio feed. Why would EITHER city agree to build a stadium that’s going to be used half of the time? Who gets the playoff games?
Great questions. I think Montreal is just getting ready for the team to be there permanently. No idea how they can get a new stadium here as they’ve crashed and burned several times already.
Because they have maybe the greatest contract of all time that prohibits it. They also can’t talk directly to Montreal. This is all so very stupid.
They can’t even talk to another city. Remember how difficult it was for them to get the right to talk to Tampa?
Montreal isn't building a new stadium for 40 home games and they're not getting a team without a new stadium. Also, if Tampa builds a new stadium, they're keeping the team for all 81 home games, this proposal never made sense.Smack Tripper said:
