PPR Dynasty Teams Available: 30 Year League! If you are an active owner, this is the League for you! (1 Viewer)

Ten-Team PPR league.  Two Orphan Teams available.  Dynasty League with Free Agency provisions.  Rebuilds are quick (last season's Champion was a recent Orphan Team in far worse shape than either of these!)  These two teams have some intriguing pieces in place, although they each need some work.  The Gridiron Elite League is hosted on RTSports.com; Annual League Fees are $50 + 1/10 of the RTSports hosting fee.  League Fees are maintained with Leaguesafe.  Payout is 50% to League Champion and the remainder divided between the top 3 Total Points (25-15-10).

Both teams have all of their Draft Picks.  Rather than me getting into great detail regarding Free Agency in this Forum post, I will simply say it really evens the playing field, so getting in now ahead of Free Agency is vital to molding a team to your own preferences.  Shoot me a Private Message here or e-mail me at r.stocktonlaw@yahoo.com for more information.  The League has been in existence since 1990, so this will be Season #30!  We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 Team Def/ST, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE).

The First Team:

Each of these Teams was taken over last season, and the owners sadly bugged out early, so we are looking for folks who desire to stick around awhile (although there is no long-term commitment).

For Free Agency (upcoming soon) we reduce Rosters from 25 to 20, and rank players in several different categories.  Each team may fully retain 5 Transition players (3 years or less in NFL), rand 5 Franchise Players (Ranked 1-5).  Plus, each team Ranks an additional 5 Restricted Free Agents (Ranked 6-10) and 5 Unrestricted Free Agents (Unranked).  We conduct two bid sessions.  Teams may make blind bids for other teams' free agents.  Each team may lose a maximum of 2 Restricted Free Agents to other teams' bids and an unlimited number of Unrestricted Free Agents. At first glance, the Free Agency Rules sound a little complicated, but it really is not so complicated once we get into it.

Free Agency really allows team Owners to quickly mold a team to their own liking, and it helps to even the playing field.  Additionally, it adds another element of strategy, both for those rebuilding and those trying to maintain a Dynasty.

One Bonus to each of these teams is that they each have an elite QB.  There is an emphasis on QB Scoring (6 pts per TD).  Snagging Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson could be a key to early success!
