One of my favorite threads is back for another edition. Once again I will be posting training camp and preseason news from any sources that I come across.

I also appreciate the contributions that are made to this thread from all other FBG members and in years past there have been many who cover their local teams who have helped to make this thread a great success.

Please feel free to add commentary or camp battles that you are interested in following or links to any other threads and news articles that will help make this the best source for ongoing information prior to the kick-off on the 2019 NFL season.

This year I am requesting a little more help with posting any information that you might stumble across as it significantly helps me in my quest to make this thread the go to news resource for all things training camp & preseason!

Training Camp & Preseason Observations

Broncos WR Trinity Benson worked with the first-team offense in 11-on-11 drills Saturday.

The undrafted prospect out of East Central Oklahoma tested well across the board in Indy, running a 4.49 40-time and elite sub-6.9 three-cone drill. Benson (5'11/182) projects as a slot wideout with superior explosiveness, as proven by his eight catches and four runs of 20-plus yards at the collegiate level. Scout maven Dane Brugler considered Benson a late-round sleeper prior to the draft. He's a name to track if only for preseason DFS purposes.

The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta believes the Seahawks will start the season with Tyler Lockett, David Moore, and Jaron Brown in three-receiver sets.

Seattle used three of their 11 picks in April on wide receivers, including D.K. Metcalf in the second, Gary Jennings in the fourth, and trading back into the seventh-round for Hawaii slot-specialist John Ursua. Although Moore or Brown may lose out to one of the younger prospects in camp, Lockett is essentially guaranteed full-time run in the slot from day one. The battle for Seattle's WR2-job is worth monitoring in August despite the team's stubborn propensity to run at a league-high rate in one-score situations last year.
