About 3 hours away from kicking this sucker off. Not sure if it's better to stay up super late or get up super early to watch this thing. Have almost $1800 in DFS action spread over 5 sites. By this time Sunday I should be a million dollars richer.

PSA: 1st and 2nd rounds are only on GOLF Channel. If you don't get GOLF Channel on your streaming service you can sign up for a 1 week free trial on either Hulu or Fubo and be able to watch free of charge. Just don't forget to cancel after the tournament.

I think as long as you already subscribe to a service that shows golf channel you can watch it on nbc sports. I'm not 100% sure though. I just saw it was on golf channel for like 14 hours each day thursday and friday.

Yea if you have nbc sports on your cable you are good with the app.

Pretty sure you have to have golf channel on your cable or streaming service. I have NBC sports channel on my Roku and it wouldn't let me watch Golf Channel because my package on directv now doesn't have it. I even pay for PGA Tour Live through NBC sports gold. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, I have Hulu for 1 week.

Hmmm. You may be right because I have golf channel.

I'm rooting for this guy "Aussie Jake McLeod has got some extra housemates this week: His round-the-world backpacking mates from down under. His might be the most laid back approach to the Open of anyone"

MCLEOD, Jake

Decent young Aussie who was third in the Australian Open back in November, but has been struggling on the European Tour since. Makes his Open debut and likely to be done by Friday night.

My buddy drafted some guy named Dylan Fritelli in are Open draft. I made fun of him quite a bit which guarantees the dude makes a run.

omg ...what a ####fest weather-wise.  Right now I'm listening to the golf pundits on Golf Channel giving Tiger a world of #### because he didn't show up a week early.

Meanwhile, they are showing him putting in cold rainy weather.  ugh.

ETA:  I  played college golf against John Cook, not long after he won the US Amateur.  I was excited.  He was a total ####.

I know this sounds horrible, but there isn't a thread about Perry Sook and his POS Nexstar company holding Direct TV hostage for NBC coverage.

Wow. Where'd you play? Big Ten school?
Played in most all of the Big Ten tournaments - saw their A and B teams in most of them.  Happen to play against him in the annual Eastern KY tournament.  Sindelar and Chris Perry came a little later but didn't play with them.  I was at Wright State - we had a good reputation and good team, so we got invites to most of the larger open tournaments.

Coverage at 10:30 pm PST. Gonna try to get 2 hours watched tonight, and up at 5:30 am to get 2 more hours tomorrow before work.

- don’t think TW makes cut

- Non-US player wins

- leaning Rose, could be Rors or Wallace

I'm recovering from a hard drink earlier this evening ...it looks like the coverage starts at 1:30 CST

What is the effect of Direct TV getting hosed by Nexstar?

Going against the heavy faves here.

Took Rahm, Scott, Day and Stenson and since I gotta have an Irishman, I'm going with Graeme.

The winner will not come from the USA!!

I think they get to the Android this time, feel like the Open is going to short circuit him a bit.

Will be happy if El Tigre makes the cut...Otis won't be able to add another major to the total until Augusta next year where he will be the second favorite behind Brooks.

Some guy in the draftkings millionaire-maker contest played all 6 of the guys in those first 2 groups. Clarke-Grillo-Hoffman-Kang-Sugue-Thurloway.   I guess so he see his "currently winning" number say $1,000,000 for a few minutes? Hope it was worth the $20.

Did he leave $30k on the table?

Love how Clarke’s “lower zipper” is open. Man after my own build.

Also, “Clarke’s Lower Zipper” is the name of my Irish Dup-Step Cover Band.

Phuque, I'm usually asleep by 9-11pm all days including weekends.  But hell if I didn't just pour a giant vodka water and hit the vape hard. This is awesome!
