Socialism and How it Can Destroy America (1 Viewer)

$3,000 per family and $4 trillion in liquidity for the Fed.
$3000 per family, about $250B?  $3000 per person would be around $1T

I'd like to see a real approach to some trickle up here.  Shift 3T over to the public and up it to $10,000 per person and let the people feed the businesses.

*I understand that this is flawed since fed liquidity is not the same as handing out free money, but would still like to see more trickle up.

Can we get a Thread Title update: Using Socialism to save America and make it stronger.
That would be great if we were actually doing that, but we're not.
Agree here...more accurate thread title would be "Using Socialism to stuff the coffers of my pet projects" based on the proposals presented thus far.  Either way, the anti-socialist crowd has to be pissed watching what's going on in DC at the moment.

Energy proposals and freakin abstinence education.  FFS they all suck

Been observing this yearning for a vaccine to COVID and this desire for our government to provide it to us.  So I am wondering how guys like @TripItUp , @BladeRunner , @Stealthycat etc are feeling about this vaccine being propped up by money from our government and the likelihood that said vaccine, no matter how we slice it, is NOT going to be something created in the private sector on it's own and has already enjoyed a windfall of money up front (some of that money has been provided for products that will never even see the light of day).

While I have no issue with this sort of support from the government and would never label it "socialist", it IS the exact kind of thing you've railed against in this thread and others in our attempt to establish a new definition for the word "socialism" in your fear mongering rants.  Are you against the government providing this sort of healthcare to the entire populace?  If no, why not?  What's the distinction you make and how did you come about drawing the line where you have?  TIA......
