I was thinking the exact same thing. Nothing has changed. I actually thank God almost every day that we built the institutions that we built because the person running the controls, in my estimation, is completely in over his head and incompetent. It's especially dangerous regarding foreign policy matters, where things undertaken ten years ago are coming home to roost. We won't know the damage for a very long time, if ever.  

I suppose, in a way, the OP contains (surprise! Anybody surprised by the OP's take?) sort of a fallacy as I can't imagine anybody but those in the government and press whose lives, other than their tax return refunds and itemized deductions, have changed drastically one darn iota.

Uh, We’re much closer to war with Iran and our allies consider us a laughingstock.

How about adding $2T to the debt during decent economic times?

 
Pulling out of Paris Accords, plus trade policy, will have long term very bad effect on this country. But you won’t feel it for several years.

His biggest accomplishment is establishing that the POTUS is above the law and in fact a defacto king.  The Founders have to be spinning in their graves.

Can’t wait to hear the cries when Republicans figure out a Democrat president will use some of Trumps tactics for Democratic policy. Unless the Federal Republicans pull a Wisconsin Republicans maneuver and reverse legislation before the Dem takes office. 

I truly don’t want any Dem President to resort to Trump tactics. In fact, when the Dem becomes President in 2020, I want them to tell Congress to start passing laws that this can’t happen again.

He has indirectly enabled single payer healthcare, student loan debt forgiveness and free college tuitions by expanding the power of the executive branch to coopt billions of dollars from military spending and use it for other projects while creating a backlash that will likely lead to a Democrat president who will have run on a platform that includes these giveaways.

But, I'm not sure farmers or rural America will care as long as the government keeps up with the Socialist agenda of bailing these groups out. So, in a way, Trump is accomplishing moving America towards a more Socialist economy.

Purely anecdotal but I know more than a few farmers...mostly almonds and pistachios...and I’ve talked to them about Trump and tariffs.  

Every one of them is a staunch conservative.

Overwhelmingly they take a very stoic/guarded stance.  

“It will all work put in the end.  I mean, I’m pretty sure.”

”It’s not that big of a deal. We farmers are use to swings in demand and prices.  This is different but not that different.”

”Hey, if I can’t handle a (insert number) drop in prices, I don’t know my business.  I’d rather be at (insert number) but economics is tricky.”

”

 
It is now hard to tell any other country, with a straight face, that they shouldnt have nukes.

The U.S. is looked at as a #### show now.  We have a morally repugnant leader.  Us telling Iran they cant have nukes is ridiculous at this point.

No claims of moral authority anymore.  We are just more powerful.  Nothing to envy.

 
Trump has shown other morally repugnant, intellectually lacking, narcissistic grifters in this country the road map to winning the hearts of a certain group of people.

Hey for that I would be very thankful.  :thumbup: I have student loan debt that I would love to see forgiven and go bye bye. Then I can see a new Ford 150 pickup in my future.

I appreciate you posting this list and I want to give my thoughts on it.

It has long been a conservative mantra, which I have accepted, that Presidents don’t create jobs. That being said, federal government led by the President can create the conditions by which jobs can increase or decrease- but usually this is a slow process and we don’t see the results for years to come. 

Nonetheless, the simple formula being applied in this argument is that President Trump has reduced regulations and cut taxes and these actions have stimulated short term job growth. I think there is some truth to this, though how much I have no idea. 

The second statement, “more Americans are employed” is true of every President that has ever seen an increase in employment over his term (which I think is almost every President?) and it seems like every President has repeated this boast which is meaningless.

Feel like this possibility hasn't gotten enough attention.

It hasn't actually happened yet, but if the courts support Trump's wall spending Congress will be effectively powerless to prevent future Presidents from spending money on whatever they want to.  Climate change, single-payer, federally funded abortion -- it's all on the table if Trump gets his wall.

Can't find a whole clip of the segment but Hannity has been bashing her since she was a candidate. The trope of "The Face of the Democratic Party" has been around for her whole term, it ain't something new. But, to answer your question, yes, he was promoting this list as a bad thing for America and some dastardly deed that will be forced upon us.
