How much ya have to lay outBought tickets for tonight. I’ll be the guy in Nats gear.
Aww did you bet on Washington or something?[icon] said:That’s Almost Bregmanian
Price case down a little bit after the loss last night. About $860 per ticket before taxes/fees. Pricy, but I guess I can cross attending a WS game off the bucket list. How much ya have to lay out
Worth it. Have fun.Price case down a little bit after the loss last night. About $860 per ticket before taxes/fees. Pricy, but I guess I can cross attending a WS game off the bucket list.
No biggie... off year. That said we knocked you guys out pretty easily last year, and are still on the throne as of right now.Aww did you bet on Washington or something?
I know your team is watching from home and couldn’t even make the playoffs.
Jealous. Good luck.Price case down a little bit after the loss last night. About $860 per ticket before taxes/fees. Pricy, but I guess I can cross attending a WS game off the bucket list.
I was rooting for you to beat LA last year.No biggie... off year. That said we knocked you guys out pretty easily last year, and are still on the throne as of right now.
Let’s see if Berman can get that Series batting average above .100 tonight. 4 for 5 will get him all the way up to the Mendoza line!
Maybe it's just habit getting the best of them?Another head first dive into first base.
I don’t get it. Does Usain Bolt dive at the end of 100 yard dash?
No.Wonder if there's ever been a WS were the road team won every game?
I want to drive 6 hours and go to game 5 but it’s probably too much.Well, I knocked attend a World Series game off the bucket list. I guess I need to add “attend one where my team does not play like poo” to it. At least I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of World Series merchandise to remember it by.
My wife just told me that prices on StubHub For Game 5 are now a few hundred less than we paid tonight. So, that may be in your favor. Had a number of Astros fans in my section tonight.I want to drive 6 hours and go to game 5 but it’s probably too much.
In a game this important I can't believe they're turning to that Happy Tree Painting guy.Joe Ross starting in his place.
Wow indeed. Just hearing this. Even though I'm rooting for the Astros, I really wanted to see Cole v. Sherzer again.Scherzer is hurt and will not start. Wow.
Right.Wow indeed. Just hearing this. Even though I'm rooting for the Astros, I really wanted to see Cole v. Sherzer again.
Well, with the Scherzer news, really wishing they had 12 pitchers on the roster like the Astros. Someone like Austin Voth probably would have been more useful on the roster than Brian Dozier or Matt Adams.Rodney needs to be injured after the game and bring on another arm for long relief.
Yeah, they need to make up an injury to Rodney and get Voth on the roster for tonight. Honestly just want Ross and someone to get them through 5 or 6. Hudson and Doolittle can go multiple innings tonight.Well, with the Scherzer news, really wishing they had 12 pitchers on the roster like the Astros. Danger of double fisting, I guess.Like how the fan in row 1 knocked down that homer.
Feels like Ross is not getting the same strike zone so far, but I’m a biased observer.Generous strikezone tonight may keep the game under 4 hours.
Was going to agree till now but the strike 2 call on Bregman was wide so I'm thinking it's just a big zone. Just hope for consistency for a changeFeels like Ross is not getting the same strike zone so far, but I’m a biased observer.
Yeah, agreed on the Bregman one, but I thought the Correa one should have ended the inning with how it’s been called.Thought should have been strike 3 on Correa with that slider outside. That's been a strike all night then a few pitches later hangs one and cc doesn't miss it. Seems to be how things go.
Totally. That's what I was trying to say above.Yeah, agreed on the Bregman one, but I thought the Correa one should have ended the inning with how it’s been called.
