They're  a very likeable bunch too. Aside from soto - who I like - not much to dislike.

Happy for max to get a ring.

A couple ex Jay's not named osuna also getting rings.

Has a World Series ever been decided where the home team did not win a home game?

Okay. Seemed like earlier there was a situation they could have as well.

If someone gets on base we may get to see Bregman to end the Astros season

Incredibly difficult to believe that the (supposedly) best team in MLB went 0-4 at home in the world series.  Unreal.  0-4.

The stars lined up for the Nats and they were just the better team.

Big props to the Nationals. Incredible season. Well deserved.

Congrats Nats.  They deserved it more.  Astros were lucky to even be alive at this point with the way their bats went silent this postseason, especially at the most important times.

Going to be tough for the Astros to make a comeback now that the game has ended

Hurts as an Astros fan but nothing but respect for the Nats.  They were resilient throughout the playoffs and always seemed to come alive in late innings.

And as much as I'd normally hate a guy like Soto, I find him hilarious.  Amazing what he's accomplished at such a young age.

Lol, Catcher (Gomes?) Put strike 3 in his back pocket.  Look for it on eBay soon.

Yeah Soto is odd. He does stuff that should be annoying (that weird crouch thing, the constant joking, the carrying the bat) but it comes across as endearing.

Normally don't watch baseball but this was a great series, thought Nats were done after game 5.

On a side note, looks like Astro's fan that place the HUGE wager(s) on Astro is out a a ton of money.....Millions.

Had a sizeable wager myself $20 on Nats to win @ 50-1

Seemed like their were a couple of points in Strasburg career where it really could have went another direction.  Good for him reaching the mountain top.

I hold no ill will against the Nationals, their fans, or Washington for what happened in Montreal.

All I know is that, for one day, these beauties were World Series champions.
