$40 Guillotine League on Yahoo. 17 teams, PPR, Standard scoring. Money held in Leaguesafe, majority approval. Snake Draft is Saturday August 31, 12:30 pm ET. 10 OPEN SPOTS.
A guillotine league is where the team with the lowest point total is eliminated each week until there is 1 team left. It is points only, there are no H2H matchups. The players on the eliminated team are then released into the free agent pool for the remaining teams to blind bid on ($200 FAAB).
This league is run a little different than a traditional guillotine league. After Week 2, the team with the lowest cumulative points is eliminated. The 7 teams with the next lowest point total are placed in the losers bracket. The other 9 teams are in the winners bracket. Starting in Week 3 through Week 10, each week, the team in the losers bracket with the lowest point total is eliminated. The team in the winners bracket with the lowest point total is relegated to the losers bracket. Starting in Week 11, there will be 8 teams left (no more brackets) and each week the team with the lowest point total is eliminated. Week 17 will be the championship for the 2 remaining teams.
