I’m thinking the same thing.Jones showing a pulse yesterday, plus no carries, didn't help Dare's chances at making an impact. I think he's a reasonable drop for one of the week 1 upstarts.

He lead the RB’s in snaps. I’d tread lightly unless you can get a Gio or Malcolm Brown for him.I think his week one usage was in line with the recent reporting......but that mess of a game by Winston didn't help anyone.
Reasonable drop with short bench, with an eye on a re-buy?
ESPN's Jenna Laine expects Dare Ogunbowale to open the season as the Bucs' third-down back.
We haven't heard much on Ogunbowale this summer, but it makes sense. Tom Brady has always operated with a pure pass-catching option out of the backfield. Ronald Jones made some big 2019 plays as a receiver, but he still lacks polish in the passing game. In addition to RoJo, third-round rookie Ke'Shawn Vaughn isn't a zero on third downs, so Ogunbowale will have his work cut out for him to nail down the role.

Watched him last year. Not impressive.I picked him up in one dynasty league just to see what happens here. Maybe he's got some value early on.
Yeah I agree. His value would be only until Vaughn gets up to speed and because he's Brady's passing back.Dare is just a guy at best. Vaughn was drafted to replace him, and if Jones has improved his blocking Dare won't have a role at all.
By all accounts he’s an amazing person, just doesn’t have any burst to be a heavily used back. They clearly drafted the Vandy kid to take his job - if he gets the pass pro down he’ll be playing right away (might be hard with less practice time).Dare taking a beating in here.
DARE OGUNBOWALE RB, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
ESPN's Jenna Laine projects Bucs RB Ronald Jones as the early-down back with Dare Ogunbowale handling third-down duties.
Laine's report is as clear as day, "Jones will serve as the first- and second-down back, with LeSean McCoy as the change-of-pace back. Ogunbowale will handle third down." It's a crowded backfield that limits the upside of any singular back, although Jones is the best fantasy asset heading into 2020. Even as the third-down back, Ogunbowale would be, at best, the third or fourth target on most passing plays. He's only on the fantasy radar in deep PPR leagues. This projection also suggests Ke'Shawn Vaughn doesn't have an offensive role, leaving him to special teams only.

The #Bucs are cutting RB Dare Ogunbowale, source said, a special teams captain and core contributor who has been with the team since 2018. The RB room was crowded thanks to the addition of Leonard Fournette.
Jaguars signed RB Dare Ogunbowale, formerly of the Bucs.
With Ryquell Armstead on the COVID-19 list and Devine Ozigbo suddenly sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Jaguars needed a backfield body. Ogunbowale lost his roster spot in Tampa Bay when the Bucs signed ex-Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette, so the two are essentially trading places. Ogunbowale will pitch in on special teams and spell James Robinson and Chris Thompson on offense.

Dare Ogunbowale rushed 14 times for 71 yards in the Jaguars' Week 16 loss to the Bears.
With James Robinson injured and inactive, Ogunbowale got the start and handled 17-of-21 touches in the Jaguars backfield, catching three passes for seven yards on five targets in the passing game. Devine Ozigbo and Craig Reynolds each carried the ball one time and caught one pass. It was all Ogunbowale, which is notable should Robinson miss Week 17 against the Colts. He'd be a last-resort RB3 for fantasy leaguers playing in Week 17.

Dare Ogunbowale rushed 12 times for 50 yards and caught 4-of-7 passes for 22 yards in the Jaguars' Week 17 loss to the Colts.
A last-minute addition to the Jaguars’ 2020 roster after being cut by the Bucs, Ogunbowale primarily played on special teams while James Robinson handled nearly all running back touches until he was shut down for the year after Week 15. Ogunbowale only had 12 touches with Robinson active. A 27-year-old free agent, Ogunbowale will be signed to play special teams and occasionally catch a pass from the backfield.

Dare Ogunbowale had 17 rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 16 loss to the Jets, adding two receptions for 15 yards.
Ogunbowale's 19-touch outing came after James Robinson tore his Achilles in the first half. With Robinson done for the year, Ogunbowale would be the next guy up in the Jacksonville running back rotation. He's functioned as a decent fill-in during his five NFL seasons, mostly operating as a pass-catching specialist in his years with the Bucs. Ogunbowale would be a touch-based RB2 if he gets the nod this week against New England. Tavon Austin could also see an uptick in rushing attempts for some reason.
