I don't know if it'll be a clear-cut SS vs. FS but it seems like it'll be Joyner & Joseph getting the starting nods. Joseph was in and out of the discussion as the starting SS there for the last 2 years and is the best guess to take over SS duties, as Joyner has been FS. (full disclosure: I don't really have much info on the scheme OAK uses and how much true SS v FS they run)

Was a big problem last year.  Joseph, for as physical as he is/should be, was not good there.  Curtis Riley maybe?  Joyner is more of a back-end/slot safety.  Add them all on waivers for a buck and see is my strategy.

Joyner has a unique role and I really don't expect to see him used as a traditional safety at all in this defense.  Riley will get the first crack at it but don't be surprised to see a lot of Harris as well.
