I'm considering trading Mike Evans for Miles Sanders and a future pick in a ppr DYNASTY league. Any support or dissent? Feels like I am buying low and selling low. What am I not thinking of?

I would not do this deal at face value but you really haven't given much info.  Are there any keeper requirements (round lost, salary cap, length restriction)?  What are your RB's and WR's?  What are your starting requirements?
