Addition By Subtraction - Jalen Ramsey Edition (1 Viewer)

Just reading about the Jalen Ramsey fiasco and this immediately came to mind. Here is a good place to name losers with talent and the laugh about the losing losses they'll bring to other losers, where they always seem to wind up. Never because of them, of course.

Guys, it's not you. It's you.

:football:

I love when people try to both tout their old school virtues and Deadspin-esque-contra-old-school virtues when discussing these guys.

I dislike both the old and new school. But I know a guy showing up to training camp in a Brinks truck and demanding trades and having tirades is a distraction. JAX's vaunted defense has given up a combined 53 pts. in two games, leaving them at a stunningly average 26.5 points per game.

eta* Football is such a team game. Guarantee they'll win more than they have without him.

This year? Sure, it would be impossible not to since they are winless, but they went to the AFC Championship game(and were neck and neck with NE) 2 years ago, and he was arguably their best player.

If the Jags are serious about dealing him, I think the bidding starts at 2 1st round picks. He's a ton more valuable than Tunsil(or probably any OL) is, and arguably more important than Khalil Mack(though some attitude discount might get factored in) maybe something like the Beckham deal, a 1st and a solid starter?

Who could deal for him? Likely a contender, the first team that comes to mind is the Chiefs. Maybe the Ravens? Philly?

Great catch by Odell, non-football compliant with his helmet.

Always an issue that hurts his team. I hope he goes off, but it's always something.

Losers find a way to get three when they should have seven.

Marone brought this on himself.  Tolerating the scumbags who like to hang out on Emerson Avenue in Duval.  Wannabe thugs.  Think they're from the street.  They ain't from the street; they're from Sesame Street.

Le'Veon wound up just where he wanted to be. On a loser where he doesn't have to play extra games.

They faced 2 of the top QBs in the NFL and held one of them to 13 points and the other they lost their starting QB for the season on the opening drive, that's like when Rocky loses Micky before he gets clubbed by Clubber, c'mon now!

We have now seen a spate of Brown, Fitzpatrick, Ramsey and Gathers demanding trades not mid season but first thing in the season.

Nfl locker rooms are filled with guys who have all sorts of beliefs and behaviors. They’re sometimes social misfits because let’s face it (kinda like doctors) they devote their whole lives to one discipline and never really learn how to properly socialize while also being reinforced and enabled along the way. I have no idea how head coaches & GMs do it. Some head coaches get destroyed by it and it can ruin seasons, like a brush fire that becomes a forest fire.

Had a convo with an old friend before this Sunday about Cleveland imploding Week 1. But he didn’t put it that way. He said ‘Did you see what Odell & Jarvis did?’ The observation was a subreference to the locker room devastation of the LSU Tigers’ championship debacle against Bama when Les Miles shut down the whole offense and set a Championship team on fire rather than let a clique of offensive stars take over his team.

I say we escort him and Marrone to the fifty and let them fist fight. That would be great for JAX and really, why not? They're not socialized anyway, and you've really got to know how to get something out of a five year-old kicking, screaming, and peeing themselves on the linoleum.

No game ever got disrupted by that.

Deal with it, coach.

Still nothing but losses and almost wins for Ramseyless losers in Jax. This guy is making everybody a loser. Took a picture with his agent and Deshaun after the loss.

Family Time!, says the Instagram.

Loser. Your team can be a loser too, if they back up the Brinks truck for this guy.
