Carted off. Definitely an Achilles injury. Refs threw a flag for taking his helmet off as he lay on the turf.

I was listening to the local post game show on the radio and mentioned he went for X-rays. If they said for what I didn’t hear it. No one else has mentioned it or tweeted about it yet.

I rather lose him for 4ish weeks then an entire season.

I'm more overjoyed at this info than an ACL. Sure we have to manage our teams and rosters better over the next few weeks, but its worth it to have him for the stretch run.

From a fantasy perspective I don't see missing Burkhead as a big deal.

In PPR leagues, he's currently the #15 fantasy RB. Not sure he is a "big deal," but he has been fantasy relevant so far.

I have not heard anything about him other than that 15 second blurb that said he was getting taken for X-rays after the game yesterday. No one person or media outlet picked up on it.
