Found this http://www.quirkyresearch.com/football-lists/nfl-fair-catch-kick-attempts/Could Slye have taken his regular k kickoff approach or do you have to take a FG two step kick? If the former, he should have. He sometimes puts kickoffs in the stands.
physical seems borderline, but he seems calm/cool/smart....so yeah he might have enough to make it long termSo how are people feeling about Kyle Allen? I picked him up sort of aggressively just given his pedigree from pre-college and it’s worked out so far. I haven’t got to watch him though so it’s purely just looking at stats. Does he have the physical attributes to be a long term starter?
It's spotted from the exact spot where the ball was caught.Does he get to choose the spot for the kick or is it spotted where the ball was downed?
Slye could have taken a kickoff approach but it didn't look like he needed to.Could Slye have taken his regular k kickoff approach or do you have to take a FG two step kick? If the former, he should have. He sometimes puts kickoffs in the stands.
Thanks. Doesn't specify if he has to just take 2 steps.
Great find. Last successful attempt was November 21, 1976! So I've just missed having one made in my lifetime.
I couldn't see if it had the distance or if it missed right or left. He certainly has the leg.Slye could have taken a kickoff approach but it didn't look like he needed to.
Don't think there's any rule for regular FGs. Two steps more driven by timing to avoid getting blockedThanks. Doesn't specify if he has to just take 2 steps.
Indeed. No rule, just prudence.Don't think there's any rule for regular FGs. Two steps more driven by timing to avoid getting blocked
just a little wide right, plenty of distance. Any kicker in the league can hit that distance with no rushI couldn't see if it had the distance or if it missed right or left. He certainly has the leg.
That was why I asked about the spot. He was set up to the right and pushed it right. Wanted to know if he had his choice or not (before I found the link). I love that the Carolina Coordinator knew exactly what was going on was adamant about how it should be lined up.just a little wide right, plenty of distance. Any kicker in the league can hit that distance with no rush
Jameis seems to be ignoring Godwin to the detriment of the offense. Godwin has caught all 3 targets today. He did the same thing against SF and New York. Makes no sense. The Bucs are miserable, especially considering their offensive talent.
sure it does....JW is....not a very good NFL QB, despite (at times) good FF productionJameis seems to be ignoring Godwin to the detriment of the offense. Godwin has caught all 3 targets today. He did the same thing against SF and New York. Makes no sense.

It was a great throw, just to wrong teamI do not believe that was a good throw
Yeah but Winston has less than zero points right now.Still lots of time left, fellas. Plenty of compiling to do if you roster Tampa QB and WR.
Compile away!

me :(Guess who's lucky enough to play vs. Carolina defense today.
I literally have no idea what they'll do. Seems like err on side of call on field.that should probably be a catch
