Steelers vs Jets - Week 16 (1 Viewer)

So with Tenn looking like they're going to lose, does it matter what the Steelers do today?
Yes it does.  If they both lose today, Tennessee is in even if the Steelers win next week (assuming the Titans win next week).  It matters a great deal for the Steelers.  Not so much for the Titans.  So if the Steelers win today, they control their destiny next week.  If both the Titans and Steelers lose today, the Titans control the destiny.

What is the back story with Hines Ward? Seems like he is taking this game personal. Is there bad blood with him and Steelers?

There goes Hodges, running his team right out of fg range. Dip sh@@. He is a @@@@@@@ trainwreck

I honestly don’t think the Steelers offense is capable of moving the ball 30 yards anymore.  They will get shut out if they make the playoffs.

Defense has been on field too long, they are tiring now. Thanks Hodges you suck. It's sad when you're only shot to win a game is scoring a defensive td.

They have to punt here?  Can’t remember how many timeouts are left.  At least that “drive “ didn’t take too much time off the clock.

Hodges didnt even try to run for yards, hilarious.  Just stands there, lol. I dont think he realizes he is allowed to run.

But how do you know the offense woukd be better. Ben didn’t look great in the short time he played.
Well we saw the team at 8-6 with 2 JV level QBs.  As bad as Ben may be, I have to believe he’s a significant upgrade to the garbage that they were forced to throw out there.

It's not worth arguing about but a healthy Ben would almost certainly be better than Duck and Mason have been this year.  Maybe his sub par play early in the year was due to the injury?

But a healthy Ben wouldn’t make JUJu get open or Washington not to drop balls or the line to block.

It's not worth arguing about because it's pointless.  They aren't healthy on offense and they are apparently an 8-8 team this year who will miss the playoffs.  It was a good run given who they are playing with.

The good thing is that there is a lot of hope for next year.  The defense should be very good again and they'll be competitive in every single game.  But it's not over yet......

And the O-Line will still struggle. But only difference will be a 38 year old out of shape QB will be under pressure.
