Hey Folks,

Looking for some early advise on who I should bid on in my UFA off-season auction.

Starting LB - Cunningham, Warner, Rashan Evans,

Bench - Willie Gay

I have my starters and not a ton of cap room. Looking to target 1-2 of these guys as bench options. Even advise on who to cross off and stay away from. Guy's I'm leaning are Burks, Wright, Hightower, Jarrad Davis, Davis-Gaither, Sione Takitaki, Rueben Foster and Kwiatkoski

De'Vondre Campbell

Oren Burks

Avery Williamson

Drue Tranquill

KJ Wright

Anthony Walker

Cole Holcomb

Shaq Barrett

AJ Johnson

Za'Darius Smith

Dre Greenlaw

Harold Landry

Don’t'a Hightower

BJ Goodson

Michal Kiser

Jatavis Brown

Robert Quinn

AJ Klein

Jermaine Carter

Akeem Davis-Gaither

Sione Takitaki

Whitney Mercilus

Jarrad Davis

Rueben Foster

Kenny Young

Samson Ebukam

Damien Wilson

Nick Kwiatkoski

Kyle Van Noy

what is the scoring system?  Makes a big difference whether or not it is big play scoring or tackle heavy

Tackles - 2

Assists - 0.5

Sacks - 6

Tackle for a loss - 2 (additional)

FF - 3

FR - 3

INT - 6

Defensive TD - 6

Safety - 4

There's some other poitns for blocked FG/Punts but these I guess are the most relevant.

I would consider that big play scoring because a sack is actually worth 8 pts (6 + 2 for TFL) or 11 with a strip sack.  That means that Zardarius Smith, Quinn, Landry, Barrettt,  and Mercilus have more value that in typical systems for LB.

You have tackle guys already so I would go after Smith for sure.  He was a stud last year in his first year in GB.  I think Quinn, Landry and Barrett are also quality Edge rushers worth rostering in your scoring

Thanks for the feedback

At 1 sack = 3-4 tackles it’s a little more balanced than sack-heavy.  Gally gives solid advice (as usual)l but I wouldn’t discount potential tackle-monsters either.  AJ Johnson is a guy I particularly like as a high-floor, good upside producer.

I’d probably go for him and Z. Smith, following Gally’s logic.

I also like Dre Greenlaw as a low cost, high upside option. If he can beat out Kwon Alexander at the starting weakside position he could put up some very nice numbers.

He put up 50 solos and 15 assists from weeks 11-17 last year which was good for LB 11 in my league.
