This is just stupid. I don’t have a problem with overpowering pitching, but this to me is more about these guys just having a terrible collective approach at the plate.

The Rays have been desperately flailing away up there since some point in the Yankees series with the exception of a few games. They were very patient all year (even if they did K a lot), I don’t know if the big moments have got to them or what but it’s a different approach than they took all year.

They were second in MLB walks so this 3 hacks and sit down stuff is definitely a downward trend.
