Greetings Everyone,
-I want to keep this pretty simple and straight forward. I'm not here to debate the politics or whatever might be behind this PPP that is dividing the country into groups. I simply want to know where I can find these masks and how to order them, please.
-Every place I walk into is different, here in South Florida and the Treasure Coast, it's a mess and some places are under one set of rules and then another is going by a different set. Some take out places want you to enter with a mask and you might not even know that until you arrive. I haven't been eating out but I am limited in what I can comfortably do until I locate a few of these masks.
-Mrs works in a hospital, I have loads of the paper blues but that's not what I want as a permanent fix.
-Is there a way to make your own?
There are several reasons to wear these masks and the most obvious is for health concerns. I was reading that talking or the art of speaking is what spreads this thing pretty easily indoors out in public.
1. Health-
2. Social Acceptance/Local Government-Do you really want to be asked not to come inside somewhere that you really want to be? Think about traveling in the not too distant future this summer on vacation and you are in a city where they take their masks seriously...you need to perhaps think of your own well being and safety even if you are not the least bit scared of contracting this, and quite honestly I'm not that scared of getting the CV-19 but I want to live my life and move forward. Maybe the masks will no longer be needed in a few months but so what? There's going to be a next time, you can almost bank on it. Why not try and stock up on some of these if you can even get them which I doubt highly right now.
3. I don't know what you want to call this next reason but I clearly was reading that not only do you need N95 Mask that is fitted but also a plastic shield or goggles plus earbuds or ear plugs. Now imagine I am able to put on a custom made "Star Wars" mask, then a set of Maui Jims/Ray Bans because that's my face shield in Florida and then some earbuds and basically I can make myself look like a terrorist and there isn't much anyone can do about it because I am protecting my health and those around me because I like to talk a lot so for everyone's safety I don't want to spread germs. Now I am simply trying to make a point and the best way i can explain this is people get to have "emotional support dogs", MOP might need an "emotional support mask and shield" which will give me a feeling of security throughout my visit to wherever I may be going
I have a mask story I would like to end with to show you I simply want to be on the Team. I was down in Broward a few weeks ago, I live on the Palm Beach/Martin County line of Jupiter and things are lot looser around here I would say and you have the best of both worlds. I was down in South Broward and I stopped in at the pizza joint I went to growing up with my dad. When I arrived I realized I could not enter the restaurant and then I looked around and I was the only person NOT wearing a mask OUTSIDE I might add and I suddenly realized I could be in trouble. That's about the time the doors opened and out stepped a short round man carrying pizzas to his car and he said "Buddy, come with me. I think you could use a mask and I got a car full of them, I'm going to give you a couple free ones on me." I got his business card, he works in the medical field of course and we now network together thru LinkedIn, terrific guy.
If you are selling them by chance I would love to buy some or if you know where to get them, that would be helpful as well.
