Why are the options strictly black male hip hop/rap artists?  Are you saying Trump doesn't appeal to other music segments?  There's no way this is sarcastic, in today's climate, inferring its a joke if a black celebrity backs Trump, right?

I suspect that NorvilleBarnes is making a subtle commentary on the fact that Republicans (generally) and Trump (specifically) have changed their position on the subject of rappers who support presidential candidates.

Or did I miss the episode of Hannity where he read Lil' Wayne lyrics live on the air?

Celebrity opinions matter again?
Yes, according to our friends in the Trump HQs thread. In fact they think the Lil Wayne endorsement will sway the black vote to Trump because he sold 120 million records (and no, that doesn't make sense to me either). There is also the trifecta of former sports stars: Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Orr and Jay Cutler (?) whose endorsements will carry a lot of weight with, um...I forget.

Hiphopcrisy!

I've never seen liberals so upset by diversity in the black vote.
Who is upset?

Im laughing at how for years we have heard that it doesn't matter what celebrities say...that we don't want to hear from them on politics...get that out of my entertainment and sports.

Oh wait, they endorse Trump, now its a big deal.

The list of celebrities (black and white) that have endorsed Biden is quite long...so again...why should anyone care if Lil Wayne endorsed Trump?

You guys felt the need to start a thread over it.

NB I believe is on record saying he will/did vote for Trump - so I’m pretty sure your post is factually incorrect.
Thanks. I don't keep track of who votes for who here. My apologies to NB.

Point remains the liberals dont encourage diversity in the AA community.

It would be weird to me if liberals or conservatives encouraged voting for the other of the two main parties.  I’m not sure what you are expecting here.

People in general.
I've seen far more shaming from the right to anything close to left, stuff like "make liberals cry again," "owning the libs," and claiming that people who don't support Trump are socialists(sources: personal experiences)

Exactly...how often have we heard celebs bashed for supporting a cause...that people didn't want to hear from that celebrity about such things.  How many times in the past several years have we heard people didn't want to hear politics on ESPN or at a sporting event.

Now people care because Lil Wayne endorsed Trump?  Wait, what?

I distinctly remember hearing multiple people tell basketball players in particular to "shut up and dribble," as though their opinion matters less.

I see many of you are taking this poll with the seriousness in which it was intended and that gives me hope for future generations.
